Every Saturday, Chongqing puts on one of the most incredible drone shows I’ve ever seen. 🚁✨

At first, all you hear is what sounds like a swarm of bees overhead. Then, little by little, the drones begin forming massive shapes in the sky—and it’s absolutely mind-blowing.

The show lasts about 20 minutes, but videos don’t do it justice. In person, the different light intensities create an almost 3D effect that feels impossible to capture on camera.

As someone who’s passionate about drones, cinematography, and immersive visuals, this was easily one of the most impressive experiences of my trip.

10/10. A must-see if you’re visiting Chongqing.

If you’re looking for one of the best panoramic views of Chongqing, don’t skip Hong’en Temple. 🏯🌿

What makes this place so special is that it’s surrounded by a beautiful forest park, so it feels like you’ve escaped the city—even though you’re still right in the middle of it.

It’s peaceful, rarely crowded, and one of the best spots to admire Chongqing’s incredible skyline from above.

Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street is one of the best areas to explore in Chongqing.
