Making elderflower cordial at home last week 🤍It’s worth noting that the flowers should only be gathered on a warm, dry day – never wet, as the rainwater washes away the fragrant pollen which gives the syrup its distinctive flavour. I’ve shared our family recipe on my Substack for when the weather clears up. To me, it perfectly captures the essence of the English countryside during summer. From my studio to @daylesfordfarm A series of porcelain pieces shaped directly from nature, created with the intention of preserving every texture, curve and small imperfection as faithfully as possible.Most of the pieces were left in biscuit finish to preserve the raw, organic feeling of the original forms.Some were glazed in transparent gloss, searching for light and depth while still keeping every detail visible.More than 70 pieces made slowly, one by one, over weeks of work.Very happy to see this series now at Daylesford, and especially grateful to @carolebamford for welcoming my work into such a beautiful universe.——————Desde mi estudio hasta @daylesfordfarm Una serie de piezas de porcelana moldeadas directamente a partir de la naturaleza, creadas con la intención de conservar cada textura, cada curva y cada pequeña imperfección de la forma más fiel posible.La mayoría de las piezas las dejé en acabado biscuit para mantener esa sensación orgánica y mate casi intacta.
