I’m pleased to present my father’s photographic archive, a body of work that spans decades and reflects his distinctive eye across fashion, portraiture, and still life.

The images on view also include photographs taken during his summer travels to Greece, a place that deeply influenced his visual language and remained close to his heart throughout his life.

This open studio is to pay tribute to his career and to honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Thank you to @caroledebona and to all the talented artists and photographers, including Teniqua Crawford, Julien Drach, Philippe Garner and Roberto Ruspoli.

Anchored in a palette of black, white, and shades of grey, an unmistakable echo of Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic aesthetic and former home, the works mirror the visual discipline of his domestic universe. Yet within this controlled chromatic language, they introduce moments of vulnerability, intimacy, and quiet warmth. Human presence emerges through texture, gesture, and emotion, softening the sharpness of monochrome and strict formality.

Bel Ouvrage @bel_ouvrage_paris Collector’s Room #2, opens today with a selection of artworks by emerging and established artists and photographers, including Teniqua Crawford, Julien Drach, Philippe Garner and Roberto Ruspoli.

The exhibition unfolds as a dialogue between works and space, where each piece is thoughtfully positioned to resonate with the surrounding architecture. The artworks engage in a continuous exchange between practices and narratives, disciplines and materials.
