Be careful what you wish for. 🧵🖤

Sometimes I swear there’s something about this place that makes the world feel exactly how it’s supposed to be. Everything feels a little more magical, people feel a little more alive, and for a moment, you forget there’s a whole other world waiting for you outside the desert.
It’s so beautiful that you almost understand why Coraline wanted to sew buttons over her eyes. Like, what if I just stayed here forever and never had to go back?

But maybe the point was never to stay. Maybe it’s to find a place that makes you feel so alive that you remember what you want life to feel like when you leave.
And maybe that’s why we keep coming back. Not just because we miss the desert, but because we miss the version of ourselves that exists here. ✨

Did you really think I wouldn’t save my favorite for last? 💛🧵

After all my rabbit roleplay, I couldn’t stop thinking about bringing my very own Coraline to life. 🐈‍⬛🌀

Coraline has always been one of my favorite movies..I love the strange, beautiful, slightly creepy world, the idea of stepping through a tiny door into a parallel universe, and most of all, Coraline herself, she’s curious, fearless, stubborn, and always looking for something beyond the ordinary.

Some characters you love as a kid… and somehow, years later, you realize they became a little piece of who you are. ❤️
Mulan has always been that character for me.
I grew up watching this movie and being completely fascinated by her. She wasn’t the princess waiting to be saved. She was brave, stubborn, loyal, fearless, and willing to risk everything for the people she loved. She went against everything that was expected of her, disguised herself as a soldier, and found her own strength along the way.

And I think that’s what made Mulan so special to me growing up .. she taught me that you don’t have to fit into the role people created for you. You can create your own path, even when it’s scary, even when nobody believes in you.
I’ve always carried those values with me in some way. The courage to be different, to be independent, to fight for the things I love, and most importantly, to stay true to myself.

So creating Mulan for the Playa wasn’t just making another costume. It felt like bringing a little piece of the girl I used to be into the woman I am today. 🐉🔥

MULAN 🐉⚔️

My absolute favorite Disney movie of all time. ❤️‍🔥

Mulan has always been so much more than a character to me , she represents the kind of warrior I admire so deeply. Brave, rebellious, determined, fearless enough to break every rule when it means fighting for what she believes in.

She never needed to fit into the role that was written for her. She created her own.

So bringing Mulan to the Playa felt incredibly special. I wanted to create my own version of this warrior! a little more wild, a little more personal , but with that same fire at core ❤️‍🔥 taken in Burning Man by @carolinaminchetti

What a morning this was! 🐰🥕✨

I’m slowly coming to the end of my cartoon rabbit hole… but not quite yet. I still have two more characters to add to this crazy story and honestly, I saved some of my absolute favorites for last. 👀

Bugs Bunny was the perfect way to keep this madness and ofc with the most beautiful flag in the world 🇧🇷✨ taken in Burning Man by @carolinaminchetti

who could fit Burning Man better than this chaotic, cheeky little troublemaker? 😂
Bugs has always been wild, unpredictable, playful, and completely unbothered , basically Playa energy in cartoon form. From breaking the rules to making everyone laugh, he’s always doing things his own way.

So for the last day on the Playa, I became Bugs Bunny… and let the chaos begin. 🐰💨🥕 taken in Burning Man by @carolinaminchetti

🐰🥕 What’s up, Playa?!

There’s something so magical about creating in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by dust, chaos and endless inspiration.
I had this Bugs Bunny idea in my head… and somehow, on the last day of Burning Man, right there on the Playa, I made it happen.

One of my favorite childhood cartoons, brought to life with whatever I had around me, a little creativity, a lot of craziness, and the magic of the Playa.

There is something about fire that has always felt a little like me ..warm, passionate, playful, and sometimes a little wild 🔥

Charmander carries that little flame wherever he goes, and I guess I do too. ❤️‍🔥🧡 taken in Burning Man by @carolinaminchetti

Pokémon is one of those rare worlds that became part of everyone’s childhood. From collecting cards and watching the adventures to choosing our very first Pokémon, it created a little universe that so many generations grew up loving. ⚡️✨

And Charmander has always been one of the most iconic little fire starters. 🔥 Born with a flame burning at the tip of its tail, that fire represents its life, strength, and spirit. Sweet, playful, curious… but with a little spark that can grow into something powerful. 🧡 taken in Burning Man by @carolinaminchetti

Entering a world that was loved by almost everyone as a child… Pokémon! 🥹✨

And of course, Charmander had to be the one to join me on the Playa 🔥🧡 A little fire Pokémon in the middle of the desert just felt too perfect.

Gotta catch ’em all… especially at Burning Man. 🏜️🔥 taken in Burning Man by @carolinaminchetti

✨ Spirited Away ✨

A magical story about Chihiro, a young girl who accidentally enters a mysterious spirit world where nothing is quite what it seems. As she tries to find her way home, she encounters strange spirits, a magical bathhouse, and No-Face..a quiet, lonely spirit who reflects the emotions and energy of the people around him.

To me, Spirited Away feels like stepping into a dream, it’s beautiful, strange, a little dark, and full of hidden meaning. 🌙🖤
