How many shots will it take us to ace our home hole?

Shot 2/♾️

The Ace Chase: me, my 9-year-old, and my 7-year-old, night golf on the par-3 home hole we live on. One swing each until someone aces it.

Attempt 3 coming soon! Will we have another beautiful sunset? Follow @carolinapackclt to find out!

I've sweetened the pot. $50 to the first kid that gets their ball within 1 ft. of the hole. ⛳

Sunday nights in Charlotte 🖤💙

Nothing like the national anthem under the lights. If you’re in the Charlotte area, follow @carolinapackclt — would love to connect. Dad of 4, showing the best of the Carolinas.

Who else was there? 👇

Oh, I see you're swinging. Let me stand right behind you. I'm trying to get hit. 🫠

Has anyone else ever attempted to take this many kids golfing at the same time before?

Is this Charlotte’s best pizza? 🍕

Well, technically it’s Belmont — right across the Catawba River. But @tapsidepizza, tucked inside Primal Brewery, is worth the drive.

Locally owned, everything made from scratch and you can taste it.

Mozzarella sticks we’d drive back for. Three artisan pizzas, and the Saucy Hen BBQ chicken is the one. Scratch chicken tenders, low-key better than Chick-fil-A. A pumpkin spice cannoli, filled fresh, that I’m still thinking about.

Watch and decide for yourself. 👆

Where should the Carolina Pack eat next? 👇

I graded this Charlotte café 22/25 ☕👇

Welcome to ESCAPE THE HOME OFFICE — my new weekly series.

I’m a work-from-home dad of 4, and some days the four walls of my home office feel like they are closing in on me. So every week, I’m getting out to hunt down the best spots around Charlotte to actually get work done. Staying home is free… so the question is always: is it worth the drive, worth the money, worth leaving the house?

Here’s how I grade every spot (each out of 5):

💸 Worth it? — staying home is free... so is it worth it?
🛋️ Comfort & vibe — seating, noise, light. Can you relax?
☕ Caffeine — nitro cold brew? Espresso quality?
💻 Workability — WiFi, outlets, table space
🚗 Getting there — parking, location, ease of access

EPISODE 1: @vavela_cafe📍
Worth it? 4/5 • Comfort & vibe 4/5 • Caffeine 4/5 • Workability 5/5 • Getting there 5/5

Total: 22/25 — ADDED TO THE ROTATION ✅

Where should I escape to next? Drop your spot below 👇

The Ace Chase ⛳️🌙
Attempt 1/∞

We live on this par 3, and every night we can, me + my 9yo + my 7yo are taking our shots until one of us aces our home hole.

How many shots will it take us? Follow along — somebody drops one eventually.
