what a privilege and a gift it is to say yes to Jesus. this weekend i was baptized by my best friend who pushes toward the Lord every single day without fail. i can not think of a more inspiring person to represent what it’s like to be strong in their faith like McAulay. i said yes to Jesus in a place where i have found who i am in the eyes of the Lord. i have lived a lot of my life in fear of what others think, and how i can please the standards this world has set. but truly, the only answer i have found in my brokenness is in Christ. i encourage you to run to Jesus, where a relationship with Him is kindness first, love first, peace first, and empathy first. every action i take is because of His love for me, and what He calls me to give to others. it has truly changed my life forever. “we love because he first loved us” 1 john 4:19 taken in Perkinsville Church by @carolinebparrish

The Lord has been so faithful to me again in the Dominican Republic, and I can honestly say I leave changed every single time I come here. This trip especially, the connections I made with the kids have deeply changed me. Their joy, their curiosity, and the way they love so freely have stayed with me in a way I know I will never forget.

We came to serve, to teach, and to love these kids, but somehow they end up pouring right back into us in ways I never expect. I have learned so much just by being with them, laughing with them, and simply showing up for them.

I am so grateful for the chance to teach English, share the Gospel, and be reminded that love does not need perfect words, just a willing heart.

This is what it looks like to follow Jesus. To show up, to be present, and to love people right where they are with patience, joy, and compassion. Thank you @bygracealoneministries
