My first piece for @wallpapermag is out now ✨ An interview with the Paris-based designer @mateogarcia_audio . I saw his work at the @celine show during fashion week and immediately got super intrigued. My big Paris guide is out now in the August issue of @bobedrenorge ❣️ I spent all of April there and once again found myself infatuated with that alluring, strange, beautiful place. We’ve had many chapters together ever since I was a child, she’s impacted the way I am and operate in many ways, and our story is far from finished.

Revealing my 7 current favorite bits & bobs in the October issue of @bobedrenorge - out now 🍂

1. These vases made by Danny Cremers @nicevases are so majestic, confident, and peculiar. Instant love.
2. Norwegian @aur.studio designs beautiful jewelry and also curates a small selection of vintage pieces. This candelabra caught my eye.
3. I devoured Detaljene by Ia Genberg @aschehoug earlier this year. Mager trøst by her will for sure be one of my next reads.
4. I first discovered @shop_baina during 3 days of design and loved all the patterned towels. These ones would be perfect in my bathroom.
5. Absolute classics from @sabreparis . Nothing beats bistro cutlery in my opinion.
6. I love an aesthetically calm bedroom. This one by @a.s.helsingo has almost a Japanese vibe.
7. A stunning cabinet by the talented Norwegian designer @kathrinehovindstudio 🤍 by @carolinekrager

~ 🛶 euphoria, puppies & dream cabins :: so many highlights to inspect & defragment, analyse under a telescope with old and new friends when we’re no longer on holiday with the sun :: celebrated my dear friend @saraflaaen ‘s 30th birthday & another treasured friend @pernillenadine ‘s amazing career achievement<3 :: went out to the islands with my loves, rowed with the rest of the country, and smelled like @loewe ‘s Iris Root while doing it :: Saw my friend @pernillemunster ‘s new furry sidekick Sesam and ofc died a little :: Read 2000 pages in total during the last month while lounging, sitting, waiting, procrastinating. Some of them I loved, others were mid. Perhaps I’ll do a roundup aprés summer. Now: let’s swim ~ by @carolinekrager

Sea creatures or aliens, I’m sure 🖤 another favourite from 3 days of design (that was actually 6 days of design) was A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE’s display of wonderful, whimsical lamps. Collaborating with the Swiss design studio Atelier Oï, they investigated the potential of a piece of cloth within the lightning space. Pleats please but make it a lamp 🫶🏻 #isseymiyake #apocableisseymiyake taken in Copenhagen, Dennmark by @carolinekrager

A magical day, team, scenery for @costumenorge ~ it’s been exactly a year since we did this really special shoot. The legendary model Sunniva Stordal @sunni_mb was shot by the fantastic photographer @desiree_mattsson, with incredible styling & makeup by @lindawickmann and fabulous hair by @malinwallinhair . I was a Fashion Editor there at the time and produced it all. It was an absolute pleasure working with such lovely, talented people during two sunny days up in Hardangervidda (with strong gusts of wind, creative flow, laughs, and massive bags of pick n’ mix 🫶🏻) Memories I’ll treasure forever.

~ a summer of Scandi meets Berlin 🎞️ :: of the salty, salty sea and the salty, salty sweat of naked strangers in a club hidden behind a kiosk :: of finding wild tangy raspberries, finding out the wild sides of people you adore :: of being ‘out of office’ but somehow perpetually in the office (absolutely always suited up and downing a strong cup of filter coffee in front of a box-shaped computer inside my mind) :: of meaning to write, meaning well and fumbling it, finding meaning and forgetting it :: it’s never long enough, now the longing begins ~ (Olympus MJU II ~ Kodak Ultramax 400) by @carolinekrager

Ad | Last week I was invited to the launch of the new @maisonmargielafragrances haute couture perfumes with @gimleparfymeri taking place at the Michelin star restaurant @credorestaurantoslo @nasjonalbiblioteket 🤍

We got to enjoy a menu created especially for the event while listening to a quartet playing alluring, emotionally charged music pieces, all meant to enhance the feeling of the scent’s names: Blaze of stillness, Silent fury, Anguish and awe, Tender defiance, Delight in despair and Fit of folly. Silent fury and Fit of folly really spoke to me. As a massive book nerd I also really appreciated the packaging - so secretive and beautiful<3

A lovely afternoon where all senses were being tickled at once. Of emotions and reflections, discussing Margiela in the 90s, art and life with a group of wonderful women. Last weekend I had the pleasure of doing a talk together with @exponova during @skoyen_designfestival with the theme ‘Beyond the surface: Craftmanship, heritage, and the true cost of quality 🤍 Thank you to the excellent panel Andreas Engesvik, @kaiaeditions @joearmitagedesign @zanatcraft for your fantastic, insightful perspectives on this timely topic.

When we were all talked out, I just had a great big mooch around the festival chatting to friends in the industry and looking at nice objects, testing sofas, drinking obscene amounts of coffee and so on. Thanks to @olga0lga0lga for shooting the talk 💞 by @carolinekrager
