ON WOMEN & SPORT.

We grow up learning what our bodies can do. Then, somewhere along the way, we’re taught to pay more attention to how they look.

But once again, sport brings us back.

Back to strength. To capability. To competition. To finding out what might be possible.

We don’t believe femininity and performance sit on opposite sides.

Women can be strong and soft. Competitive and feminine. Powerful and sexy. There is no single body, look or version of a woman that owns any of those things.

The difference is whether we’re celebrating women - or reducing them.

Women’s sport doesn’t need another definition of what an athlete should look like. It needs more women able to see themselves becoming one.

Running their first mile. Racing their first marathon. Lifting heavier. Coming back from injury. Going faster than they thought they could.
And then going further.

Because every time the ceiling moves, someone else gets permission to aim a little higher.

That’s a big part of why we started MATHAN.

Not to define the woman in sport.

To help build a world where more women are inspired & can see a place for themselves within it.
