I’m so grateful to be able to follow May’s beautiful career as it blossoms. Here’s another picture from the photoshoot we did at RBO in her Giselle costume. 🤍

When organizing my work to choose the new three fixed posts here, this photo was the first that came to mind – and it was one of the most voted by you too.

I remember the moment I photographed it. I was barely breathing. It was the first time I photographed Nela and I just wanted to capture all the emotion of that moment. The Colón was filled with an energy so strong that we could almost physically feel it, like a magnetic field, or a magic veil.

It was also a very important and significant moment in my career, which I will forever keep in my heart.

Today, this image is already spread across Pinterest, which could be seen as a problem but, for me, it is very gratifying – because I have always looked for references there and seeing my work there means that it has touched a lot of hearts too.

It really moves me every time I see it.🤍 🦢

I’m so thrilled to share that “Wings of Silence” has received a Silver Award at the 2026 @budapestfotoawards! 🥈✨ It means so much to see this work recognised once again, and even more to celebrate it with you!

Thank you, dear @dancingalinaofficial, for being part of this creation, and to the BIFA jury for this recognition.
