said goodbye to my dream home (& friendly ghost) last week 🗝️ tearing up as I write this!!

Eloise is where I grew up into myself post-college & was my first true home of my own. I lived there for some of my favorite moments and some of my hardest. countless dinner parties had, birthdays celebrated, records played, music videos shot, storms faced & leaks fixed, joints lit, snake held, DJ sets performed & so much more here. if you were part of our sacred little community we built, I appreciate you so endlessly (& ran out of tags) 💌

thanks (NOT) to our cruel scam landlords for the past 7 months of harassment & terror… if anyone needs advice on LA housing/tenants law, my roomies & I just gave ourselves an unintentional crash course (including testifying under oath in housing court) & I would LOVE to give advice to others in our situation <3

special thanks @claire.velez for finding this gem online in 2022 & to all of my roommates who I lived with here over the years, especially @shercoomer who lived with me from day 1 until the end. they taught me how to be part of a support system and have grace for each other in a way I’ve never experienced before. we’ll love & miss you forever Eloise!!! 🏠 taken in Silver Lake Reservoir by @carolyn.k
