EVERY SHOT SINCE - 2027 🏒🤍
swoony spicy heartfelt hockey romance from a beer league WAG, cool mom and former tumblr girl in the PNW 💘🌻

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

EVERY SHOT SINCE is my debut hockey romance novel coming early next year 🤍🏒

The last thing Sophia Bankwell has time for-between saving her late father’s failing dive bar, healing her own broken heart and starting over in her hometown-is the cocky, irritatingly charming hockey player hiding from the world at the end of her bar. But the only thing Ben Havilland has ever wanted is to win, and that includes the witty, guarded bartender he can’t stop thinking about.
As the end of Ben’s contract and an uncertain future looms ahead, what starts as a no-labels, high-heat connection with an expiration date quickly blooms into the kind of love neither was ready to find. Now, they’ll both have to decide what dreams are worth chasing before their season ends.

Introducing your new book besties 🤍🖤💚

@veronicarose_writes | Worth the Risk | February 2027

Reagan Hart has always dreamed of being a published author. After a corporate layoff and countless rejections, she moves to New Orleans for one last chance to turn that dream into reality. When she lands a marketing job at Bayou Books, a struggling romance imprint, she joins the team with one secret hope: to become the imprint’s next author. There’s only one problem. Her new boss is the handsome man she recently met—and can’t stop thinking about.

Former reality star Juliet Townsend has sworn off cameras and commitment after a broken engagement and years of abuse at the hand of her co-star fiance. Despite her fresh start and the fashion career she's always wanted, she continues to cling to the vices that keep her numb. Until a one night stand turns everything she believes upside down, and she discovers love doesn't always hurt, sometimes it heals.

Sophia Bankwell is done taking risks. After giving up her medical school scholarships to help chase her girlfriend's dream of celebrity chef stardom across the country - only to crash-land back home, heartbroken - she pours everything into keeping her late father's failing dive bar afloat. Behind the counter at Jamie's, she keeps her head down, her heart guarded, and her own dreams firmly out of reach.

*mariah carey voice* it’s tiiiiiiime 🤍🏒

title reveal FRIDAY! drop your guesses below 🥰⬇️

if you’ve been here since I was querying this book, you may remember it as HOW I FOUND YOU. that was a placeholder title that stuck for a long time because I loved what it said about where B+S began: a little lost, a little messy, never knowing all they needed was to find each other.
when I decided to indie publish and as editing brought me further into the heart of the story, renaming this book felt like an important piece of that process. this title feels right for a book about ambition, starting over, and the way the right love changes you - for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

Just three writer gal pals and the men they wrote for you to love 🤍🖤💚

@veronicarose_writes | Worth the Risk | 2.2.27

Russell Reed returned to New Orleans with two goals: save his failing imprint and get back to New York as quickly as possible. Falling for his ambitious new employee was never part of the plan. But with his company hanging on by a thread, Reagan is a distraction he can’t afford—and one he can’t seem to resist.

@byjenniferrios | Love In Ink | On sub now!

Dane King, an artist and entrepreneur, focuses only on what he can control: running his growing tattoo and art gallery, his family’s bar, and keeping his brothers from killing each other. Until reality star Juliet Townsend strolls into his bar, drags him into the bathroom, and steals his leather jacket-along with his heart.

@carolynelainewrites | ESS | Early 2027

Ben Havilland is a minor league hockey enforcer with a reputation for trouble, on and off the ice. But buried under his bad boy facade is the fear he’s wasted his career. When fate brings him one last shot at the NHL and a beautiful, brilliant flight risk of a bartender who sees the real him, he must decide which shots are worth taking before his season ends.

happy #encore day to all who celebrate 🫶🏻 soph is too cool to admit it but she bumps cruel summer and the evermore album regularly, ben has 22 and shake it off on his locker room playlist and he pretends it’s ironic but it’s really, really not. 🎶🤍
