I'm delighted to share that I've been selected for Discovery 2026 @ImprintArtFair

I'll be presenting 'Historical Folds' and 'Angel' as part of the inaugural edition of Imprint Art Fair at RHS Lawrence Hall, Westminster this October. RHS Lawrence Hall, Westminster later this month.

I'm really looking forward to sharing my work in person and being part of a Fair bringing together contemporary artists, galleries, publishers and institutions from across print and editions.

I am delighted to be selected to take part in the Small but Mighty exhibition 2026

I'll be presenting 'Joy in the midst of this' and ‘Thinking in clouds of green and blue’ as part of the Small but Mighty exhibition with The Royal Society of Printmakers at the Bankside Gallery, London.

‘Paradise Lost’ - 2025

Paradise Lost, takes its name from Milton’s poem, a retelling of the story of Adam and Eve from the biblical book of Genesis. This Paradise Lost is a re-visioning of the painting ‘Mrs and Mrs Andrews’ by Gainsborough. Woven through the English countryside and its landowners is a layer of pattern and colour suggestive of the tropical countries the British empire was expanding into from the 1750’s. Whilst the painting has no overt references to colonialism, the wealth represented was part of a larger colonial network. The Andrews would also have benefitted from the Enclosure movement. In the 18th Century common land on which peasants were permitted to carry out subsistence farming was progressively privatised, enabling the moneyed classes to fence and hedge tracts of land for more efficient and profitable agricultural practices.

This work was created from a collaboration with @cassievaughn. I screen printed a work of mine based on antiquity onto a copy of one of Cassie’s art palettes and grew mushrooms through it. We then took this outcome into individual directions to create separate works.
Chromatic aberration is a colour distortion that creates an outline of unwanted colour along the edges of objects. It is also known as a Glitch, from the Yiddish word Glitshn, to slip and slide. In this folded digital image a scanner’s methodical, objective eye jump cuts and slides across the image surface. The digital drag looks like fault lines, fissures and folds, which stretch and concertina the image simultaneously stopping and moving this strange digital form through an immensity of digital time and space.

Last chance to see ‘Disturbances’ at Thames-side Studios, Woolwich!

The exhibition is open Thursday 19 – Sunday 22 February 12 - 5pm @Thames-side Studios Gallery, Harrington Way, London SE18 5NR

The exhibition brings together six artists whose work investigates interruption as a catalyst to shift perspective. Whether reconstructing objects from history to question inherited narratives or by probing the archetypes of landscape and painting’s relationship to truth, these artists share an interest in disrupting dominant ideology. This sense of rupture is echoed in their methodology: a deliberate glitching of the printing process, unravelling and reworking stitching, provoking and showcasing accidents, or using instinctive mark making to form painterly gestures that step away from the human hand. In all instances, there is a common interest in resistance and in creating alternative, multitudinous realities.

Disturbances

Very happy to be part of this group exhibition @thamessidestudiosse18 curated by Cassie Vaughan. The exhibition explores interruption and disturbance as a catalyst to shift perspectives. Whether through channelling the immensity of digital time, simulated realities and voyeuristic spaces in a technological world; or processing the psychological impact of environmental collapse; ‘Disturbances’ speaks of states of unsettlement, a longing for reconnection and of finding new ways forward.
