We’d like to warmly invite you to our pop-up on July 3!

It will take place at Rigaer Str. 3, and the theme is “Childhood/Nostalgia.”

The participating designers are @daschkey, @sniyyder, @shady.eff, and @soulmade.ls

In addition to clothing, we’re teaming up with our friends to create a space where we can have fun together and make childhood-like memories. There will be drinks and cotton candy 🍬
-to set the mood, feel free to bring your favorite CDs so we can listen to them together! 💿

Beneath the surface.

RAGE (part 2/2): “[…] But I also think it’s partly a matter of perspective—how people view rage. An impulsive person who tends toward repeated outbursts is more burdened by it and doesn’t want to react so intensely all the time—sees rage as something negative, something heavy. A less emotional person probably wouldn’t feel that way—maybe even the opposite? […]
There is certainly another kind of rage —not acute rage. I’ll call it “chronic,” “subtle” rage—just suppressed? It certainly exists, and I imagine it filled with adjectives like: gnawing, corrosive, self-destructive… I can’t think of any positive aspects there—except that this feeling too is “human”… and that’s where we drift into philosophy, whether there is anything positive to be found in the “human” at all?! #03 RAGE - The Natural Latex Corset

More thoughts on rage (Part 1/2): “[…] To stay with the metaphor—rage can swallow you, and at first impulse rage feels like something negative… something one wants to avoid—something I want to avoid—in myself, but also in others. Without thinking too much about what “rage” actually is, I associate it with “loss of control,” “unpredictability,” something “dangerous”… human rage shuts down “clear thinking”… killing in the heat of rage… unimaginable acts out of rage… but… and here comes the big “but,” […] rage is, in a way, “pure emotion”… something “human.” Does rage therefore have a positive aspect? The ability to feel emotion… intense emotion? If we were capable of switching off everything we’ve learned… our “moral guardrails,” rage might actually give us power… the power to do things we wouldn’t be capable of in a balanced emotional state. In that sense, rage really does give us an additional ability.
Whether it is inherently something positive when a person is capable of more or less intense emotion… I don’t know… does that make someone “more alive” than another? I myself know sudden bursts of rage, and I almost always regret it when they break out. […] Thinking further, I see another positive aspect here. Outbursts of rage—the acute, overwhelming rage—put the “environment” on high alert… they awaken more instincts in others… “something’s wrong here,” “something is escalating here”… is there danger?
