I have 99 problems, but being FINE isn't one of them. Happy birthday to me! Here's to Chapter 35 🍾

A special thanks to @riablaqsings for singing her heart out last night. by @carpediem_takia

My birthday is Thursday, May 28, but I kicked off the celebration with some of my good friends and loved ones. The theme was pretty and pink, and we celebrated at VASO at their R&B Bubbles and Brunch event, held every 4th Sunday of the month. My heart is so full. 🩷🩷🩷 The party will continue as it is Gemini season ♊️ by @carpediem_takia

We met in August 2010. We became friends instantly, sharing so many milestones and memories. On June 30, 2025, I witnessed my best friend become a bride. What an honor, choice, and privilege it was to show up for you on your special day! by @carpediem_takia

I want to give a special shoutout to my tribe for this weekend. Thank you for your presence; it was truly a gift. Who else can put 16 ladies in one room and feel pure love? A few ladies are missing, but you know who you are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. by @carpediem_takia

Dear Chapter 33,

I am honored to say that I have healed the little girl within me. I have been intentional with my mental health, inner peace, self-knowledge, and what I consume. The last year and a half has been dedicated to connection and community, and I am thrilled to say my tribe is stronger than ever.

You may ask, what is this season of my life called? I will say it is one of preparation and impact. Preparation in terms of putting myself in a position for the things I desire, and impact in terms of the impression I leave when you encounter me.

Cheers to love, growth, and community. by @carpediem_takia

I've always received countless messages from individuals urging me to post more on social media. However, I've struggled with that. To know me is to know I am a private person. I say that to emphasize: I am not a social media influencer. I will never just do it for the gram. If you come to my page expecting to see a video of me twerking or anything that aligns with the current cultural trends, just hit the unfollow button now. As I've said before, I know my community. Trust me, you can see the soil and the fruit of this tree. In the words of Birdman, put some respect on my name and enjoy this beautiful smile. by @carpediem_takia

This year has been amazing! I could dedicate an entire podcast to share the transformative moments that shaped my life. I firmly believe I'm walking in my purpose, blessed by God through my faithfulness. I'm not just living in last year's prayers but also this year's discipline. Excited for what 2024 holds, I'll remain a light for myself and others. Grateful, peaceful, and above all, blessed. ✨️✨️🍾🍾 by @carpediem_takia

Last night, I graduated from @wethrivein workspace—a unique 8-month professional development and leadership program designed for black millennial emerging female leaders in Central Ohio. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community. by @carpediem_takia
