Guys, who tuned into my show today though?!

Make sure you catch me on @croydonfm every Thursday 3-5pm for ‘Carrera’s Classics’, where I play the best Hip Hop and R&B throwbacks!

Every week I dive deep into a segment that I like to call ‘The UK Don’t Play!’, where I celebrate the best UK riddims from back in the day.

Today Ms @beverleyknight had me doing the MOST to this tune right here. Banger!

You know what @stush_uk brings to the mic and the stage, but there’s a whole lot more in her locker.

Stush talks BRIT School days and her love of musical theatre with @carrera_chanelle. Stush: The Musical? Doesn’t sound too far-fetched 👀 taken in Croydon FM by @carrera_chanelle

Always good to hear where it all began. @stush_uk joined us on Carrera’s Classics to talk early memories, musical influences and finding her own sound.

With Love From South.

We caught up with Lizzy Lambie from Croydon Creative Enterprise Zone (@croydoncd_) earlier today to hear what’s planned for the event @thevillagetable_uk later this month.

Here’s a little from the conversation. Listen to the full interview now on Mixcloud.

The sad news of Sway DaSafo’s passing broke just before I went on air today.

So it only felt right that today’s ‘The UK Don’t Play’ segment on @croydonfm was dedicated to a true pioneer of UK Rap.

Two Sway classics, turned all the way up.

Thank you for the music, the memories and everything you contributed to the culture.

Rest in peace Sway. 🕊️

One thing about me… I’m never making it through this tune quietly. 😂🔥🔥

Every time I play ‘Ride Out’, I’m reminded just how ridiculously good it is.

@thisisangel - you absolutely killed this one.

This is exactly why ‘The UK Don’t Play’ is one of my favourite parts of my show on @croydonfm

Proper UK gems deserve their flowers! 🇬🇧
