Expected DTLA to be a bit rough with all the crosswalks and narrow paths, but it turned out chill, especially with the sunset going.

Also bumped into a stranger setting up a chess board so I played and got absolutely smoked.

Honestly could’ve just kept running past him, but the mood boost from running gave me that split-second desire to ask for a game. Ended up being one of the most fun random experiences I’ve had in a while.

Good reminder why I run, it makes me more social and just puts me in a better mood.
