got sued by a very mean man the same day i got a jury duty notice, self represented in front of a judge, celebrated how good i did and the fact i didn’t back down from him with my back up witness and emotional support bff at chik fil a, waited months for a verdict, and now it’s finally all over🖤 by @carrinnnaaa

i remember when i was about 16 years old and i watched rocky horror for the first time w my sister on a rainy night in texas. my parents for YEARS had jokingly warned that i needed to see it but not til i was old enough bc they said id love it. after the first watch i was literally confused at the ending bc i thought the footage was like accidentally cutting back to the beginning of the movie. so then i rewatched it- and became obsessed.

i got my first tattoo at 18 years old of rocky horror. since then, i’ve gotten countless rocky horror goodies and met barry bostwick (brad), susan sarandon (janet), and patricia quinn (magenta) and gush to them about how this movie changed my life. i’ve been to probably over like 45 shadowcasts at this point. i’ve had the absolutely pleasure of taking many virgins to their first shadowcasts (always happy to take more😸).

tim curry has always held such a large part of my heart since i discovered this movie and helped me find so much happiness, community, love, weirdness, ways to process the world, understand of art, and left me with so much pride in wanting to make weird campy shit for the rest of my life. so thank you.

i have so many more pictures but this is what i can find on my phone right now.

1- shadowcast with susan behind me while i tipsily enjoy my tattoo being sung
2- my og houston cast that started it all for me with the best midnight culty showings
3- the same theater, where i took my high school senior pics photoshoot at
4- one of my fav shadowcast nights where we were all incredibly dead serving at nitehawk the next day
5- a record of rocky horror that bernie bought me that had my hometown houston rocky horror printed on it which was so special
6- me and susan freaking out after she told me i was the loudest one doing call backs during the screening and i told her how much i loved her
