✨ Rising Forms is all about breaking free from flat.

I am bringing back this class for the new retreat I’m teaching at this August called Studio Eleven by Vivi Magoo!! This class is all about taking flat sheet metal and coaxing it into dimensional forms. I’ll teach you how to bring height, dimension, texture, and serious drama to your metalwork—elevating your designs in every sense of the word.

You’ll choose to create either a ring or a pendant as your finished piece—both designed to frame your stone like a work of art.

It’s all about thoughtful construction, dynamic shapes, and that moment when your design lifts right up off the bench. These forms don’t just look cool (though they do). They catch patina in beautiful ways, create depth, and frame your stone like it’s the star of the show. 🌟

New class preview!
🧿 WATCHFUL EYE 🧿

My new Evil Eye class is officially on the calendar!
AUGUST 4th, 2026

Students will learn to saw, solder, shape, and finish their own wearable talisman clasp while creating a fresh take on the classic fishhook clasp traditionally found on pearl necklaces. Students will create a secure and functional closure that will become part of the story instead of something hidden away.

Part protection piece, part statement jewelry, part tiny connector of ancient symbolism wrapped in silver.

This project has been living in my sketchbook for quite a while and I’m excited to finally bring it into the classroom.

A little peek at the making of my Nordic Folklore Blooms 🌸✨
Hole by hole, cut by cut, the floral design slowly comes to life. This is just the first layer, fully pierced and sawn out and ready for the next steps!

There’s still plenty of work ahead before these blooms are ready to leave my bench, but I love seeing these snapshots as the details emerge. 💛

Introducing the Blomma Ring! 🌸

A little Scandinavian folk art meets Southwest soul.

Origin of the name: Blomma is Swedish for flower or bloom.

Hand-sawn sterling silver floral details frame this gorgeous Royston Ribbon turquoise. I was tempted to keep the band simple and not include a stone, but boy am I glad I did!! I love how it all came together!

This statement piece is just as comfortable to wear as it is beautiful, and I have a feeling this might be the beginning of a new ring style featuring more of my favorite one-of-a-kind stones. 🩵

She is a size 8.25 and ready to find her person!

It’s so easy…

Just when I think the last pair is my favorite 🤩 I fall in love with the next. These asymmetrical Orchid Nordic Folklore Blooms have quickly claimed the top spot. 🌸

I love the unexpectedness of the asymmetry, the graceful curves and dimension, the shine of the sterling silver against its deep patina, and the way each earring feels like its own tiny piece of Scandinavian folk art. They’re definitely making me want to keep creating this line. 😍 Would you like to see more?

Tackling a multitude of ring challenges with these babies. Rings spin. Fingers swell. Fingers shrink. It happens. 🤷‍♀️

I’m loving the asymmetry and lightweight feel of these. They pack a big punch, yet still have a softness to them. A little curve, a little dimension, and suddenly a familiar shape feels completely different.

Sometimes the smallest shift makes the biggest difference.

Lake day 🚣‍♂️

Our first adventure taking the pups was a huge success. And it turns out that picking the day after an epic rainstorm was absolutely the best decision. About 79 degrees, overcast skies, super still water and even a little mist at times. We practically had the lake to ourselves. Perfection!

Maisie and Juniper did great on the boards. We practiced in the pool a couple times before taking to the lake which was very helpful. And they aren’t bothered by their new life jackets! They had no trouble swimming as you can see.

Overall it was the perfect day!

Hey friends, I need your help...

I wanted to know if I would prefer each of these more if the background behind the stone chips was blackened or left shiny before adding the inlay. To be honest, I was second guessing if I had made a mistake by adding patina on my first round. Would the chips stand out more with a shiny silver backing?

Well, I made up three more necklaces to test it out. All of the top pieces are the original round with a dark patina behind the chips. The lower pieces were left a shiny silver behind the chips. I know which I prefer, but I’d love to get your take!

You tell me what your thoughts are.
