carry ripple 2 out now on @machineduplicationrecordings

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our second ever immersive sort of americana sort of ambient sort of everything show at First Congo is coming up on 9/5. @carryripple will be celebrating the release of his incredible record Carry Ripple 2 (preorders live on the @machineduplicationrecordings bandcamp!) with @welcome2candynavia and @haleymosenteen opening the show. @infinitystairs will be projection mapping the church. Missed the last time we did this? Swipe through to see a few pics from @seandavis from the Luke Schneider/Dream Journal/fosterfalls show.

So stoked to be booking another show at the church. Lots of stuff in the works right now, including trying to clean out the *other* stage in the basement and booking one of my huge bucket list acts for our winter offering. Stay tuned!

We know time flies when you’re having fun, but we still can’t believe that Machine Duplication Recordings’ incredible showcase in the Crosstown Arts Green Room is only TWO DAYS AWAY!

This show is slated to highlight three of MDR’s shining stars: General Labor, Missed Dunks at Summer League, and Carry Ripple. As if that weren’t already above and beyond, each performance will be accompanied by live, immersive visuals by members of the Memphis Chroma Collective, including Infinity Stairs, Kid Maestro, Whimsyhaus, Handicrafts, and more.

To show you how excited we are, here’s a little sneak peek of what’s in store from Carry Ripple, featuring his latest single “Birdbath”.

For fans of the local label, diehard disciples of indie-rock, or connoisseurs of mixed-media performances, you won’t want to miss this one! Get your tickets while you can at the link in bio or at crosstownarts.org – see you soon!
