THE DIAGNOSIS MAY HAVE CHANGED THE JOURNEY, BUT IT DIDN’T END IT. 💙

From one special needs mom to another, I understand the tears, the questions, the frustration, and those moments when you feel like giving up.

But I also know what it means to have God give you strength when you don’t think you have any left.

So today, I want to encourage you: feel it, but don’t stay there.

There is still work to do. There are resources to find, questions to ask, things to learn, and a child who still needs you to show up.

I’m not here to keep you in your pain. I’m here to remind you that you can move forward.

And if you’re a woman of faith like me, remember: God’s grace is enough for this journey. 🙏🏽💙

Saturday morning at Midway Plaisance Playground! 💙 A sensory friendly space where children of all abilities can play, explore, and just be kids.

As I approach 50, I’m more intentional than ever about how I spend my time. My older children have so many beautiful memories of the things we did together, and I want Messiah, at just 7 years old, to have those same memories.

Life is not promised, and time is precious. I want him to remember the places we went, the things we experienced, and the moments we shared. ❤️

I’m not just raising a child. I’m creating memories he can carry for a lifetime.

God has a way of bringing people together, and when He does, you can’t help but recognize His intentionality! ❤️🙌🏽

My first sermon was about INTENTIONALITY, and look at God being intentional in my own life by bringing this beautiful, vibrant young lady into it! My baby sis, my Kingdom sister, my HOLY GHOST BESTIE! 😂❤️

Y’all, when I say we can go from HOLY TO HILARIOUS, I mean it! 😂🙌🏽 We love God, we laugh, we joke, and we have our fun, but when it comes to Kingdom impact, WE STAND ON BUSINESS! 🔥 We can cut up one minute and be praying and praising the next. That’s just US!

But what makes our connection so special is that WE SHOW UP FOR EACH OTHER! She was there when I preached my very first sermon, and I showed up when she first stood before her congregation as their pastor. We understand the importance of being present, celebrating each other, and supporting what God is doing in one another’s lives. We don’t just talk about sisterhood; WE LIVE IT! ❤️🙌🏽 THAT’S INTENTIONALITY!

And here’s the kicker, y’all… OUR BIRTHDAYS ARE IN THE SAME WEEK! 🎉 Mine was Tuesday, and hers is TODAY! What kind of intentional God thing is this?! 😂❤️ I’m still celebrating my birthday, and now I get to celebrate my baby sis!

She wasn’t even a pastor when we first met, and now look at her! I’m so honored to witness what God is doing in her life. She came into my life like a BLAZE OF FIRE, and one thing about us, SHE DOESN’T PLAY ABOUT ME, AND I DON’T PLAY ABOUT HER! 🔥❤️

Y’all, help me celebrate my BABY SIS Zipp Springfield today! Happy Birthday, Pastor! I love you, and I’m grateful God connected us for His purpose! 🥳❤️

This pool game was so much more intentional than people may realize. ❤️🎱

Not only are our birthdays one day apart, but she’s also my sister’s mom, and she’s over 70 years young! To have the opportunity to play pool with her, watch her school me, and yes, I DID win 😂, meant so much to me.

Initially, she said no. She didn’t want to play. But one thing about me, I have a way of encouraging people to do the things they really want to do but may need a little push to get started.

Afterward, she thanked me and shared that she hadn’t played pool in over 30 years. Y’all, THAT was the gift for me! 🥹❤️ To create a moment that brought her joy, gave her an opportunity to revisit something she hadn’t done in decades, and allowed us to make a memory together was priceless.

This past year has been hard for her, and being able to celebrate her and share that moment together meant more than words can express.

Happy Birthday,GranK! 🎉❤️ I’m so glad we got to celebrate together. Sometimes the greatest gifts aren’t things you can wrap. They’re the moments we create, the joy we share, and the memories we leave in each other’s hearts.

And listen… I still won that game! 😂🎱❤️

Y’all already know I LOVE unexpected gifts! 🎁🥰 And didn’t I tell y’all to get ready for my birthday? 😂🎉

Yesterday was my actual birthday, but today is still my birthday, and technically, we celebrate ALL WEEK and ALL MONTH! ♎️😂 Listen, I know y’all are ready for Libra season to be over, but we’re celebrating until October 31st! PERIOD! 💃🏽🎉

Now, let me tell y’all about this unexpected gift from one of the mothers at my church! ❤️ This was such an intentional self care basket, and the timing could not have been more perfect.

After working out, running errands, getting the boys to school, and keeping up with therapy appointments, my body gets TIRED. Sometimes, I’m so busy taking care of everybody else that I need those little reminders to slow down and take care of myself, too.

This gift was thoughtful, intentional, and so appreciated. It’s not just about what’s inside the basket. It’s the thought behind it. 🥹❤️

Sometimes the greatest gifts are the ones that remind you that you deserve to be cared for, too. And for that, I am GRATEFUL! 💕♎️

Sometimes, it’s the smallest things that mean the most. ❤️

It’s the thought behind it, the time taken, the words chosen, and the love attached to the gesture. The text with it😭A picture I took was created and turned it into something so powerful for my birthday, and it touched my heart in a way I can’t fully explain.

It’s not always about how BIG the gesture is, but how deeply it makes you FEEL. 🥹❤️

This meant so much to me that I’m getting it framed. Because sometimes, the smallest things leave the biggest impressions. ✨

I’ve been very intentional about following God’s instructions and going where He leads me. For the past few weeks, I’ve been praying and encouraging my TikTok family, and I’m continuing to follow that direction.
