Man, God is so good. The Lord has changed me and my heart in ways you can only imagine. I was depressed, anxious, and even suicidal, but Jesus pulled me out of it ALL. He took what the enemy meant for evil and He turned it for good. I was living by my own desires and going through life miserable until the Lord showed me that nothing in this world can bring you true fulfillment.(Ecclesiastes 2:9-11) You will always have a hole in your heart that only Jesus can fill.(John 4:13-14) Jesus brought me out of that pit and changed my life. But just like He helped me, the Lord wants to help you, and all you have to do is let Him. You don’t need to suffer from depression, addiction, lust, anxiety, or mental illnesses, because JESUS IS GREATER THAN IT ALL. Give Him your heart and he will transform you into a new creation. This is because Jesus loves you, and nothing you have done or will do can change that. (Romans 8:38-39) Yes, Jesus loves YOU, and all He wants is to have a personal relationship with you. He loves you so much that even though each and every one of us decided to rebel against Him by living in sin, He still came and died on a cross so that we could be saved. He took the place that we rightfully deserved as sinners, so that we no longer have to pay the penalty for our own sin. Then 3 days later, Jesus rose from the dead showing that there was nothing He couldn’t overcome. We no longer have to live in our sin, because we are made free and made right with God by the sacrifice of Jesus.(Romans 3:23-26) And now the only thing you need to do to accept this gift given by God, is believe that Jesus is who he says He is, repent of your sins and turn to Him. Allow Him to enter your life and change it, and you will not regret it. He will do such amazing things and all you have to do is let Him.

The joy of the Lord is truthfully something else. I have tried all this world has to offer but none of it was ever enough. And yet the greatest joy that I have ever experienced wasn’t on the football field, wasn’t graduating college, wasn’t out at the bars, but it comes from sitting in the presence of the Living God! (Psalm 16:11) This joy He brings to your life doesn’t simply last for a fleeting moment, but it will transform your life. The happiness of this world disappears after mere moments, but the joy of the Lord lasts a lifetime! (1 John 2:16-17) The joy that the Lord brings cannot be taken away by the things of this world. (Habakkuk 3:16-19) There will still be storms to come yet that joy will remain knowing that Lord is in control throughout. (James 1:2) He will bring peace that is beyond our understanding into your life and into every situation and set you free from anxiety. (Philippians 4:7) People often think that once they reach a certain point in life they will be happy. Once they get millions of dollars, once they get in that relationship, once they buy their dream house, once they get their dream car, then they’ll finally be happy. But these things will never bring you true joy in life. (Ecclesiastes 2:10-11) They may bring excitement for a period, but that excitement fades quickly and you’re right back to wanting more. These things you’re striving for now will all be gone once you pass away. (1 Timothy 6-8) You can’t take a house with you to the grave, that car will rust, that money doesn’t matter anymore. DON’T YOU WANT SOMETHING ETERNAL?!?

So I challenge you, if you don’t believe me, go and try it out for yourself. Call upon the name of the Jesus and just see what He will do in your life. taken in Jesus Loves You by @carson.fenske

Regardless of the outcome, when Jesus gets the glory we will see a victory. All glory and praise to King Jesus!
