Cass, you understand me better than anyone and the way you love me and those around you is amazing. Pregnancy for you hasn’t been easy at all, in fact, it’s been very difficult. But I have watched you over and over sacrifice for me when I know you didn’t feel like it. It is such a joy to be married to you! I can’t wait to watch you become a mother! I know you are going to do such an amazing job. We celebrated one year of marriage a few days ago on June 27th! This last year has absolutely flown by! We have had so many great memories. From visiting the White House, vacation to Italy, shooting ducks in Colorado, Ella Langley concert, and even our first house.

Cassidy, this year has been the best year yet! Getting to hangout 24/7 and laugh non stop has been a blast. I feel truly blessed and undeserving to be married to you. Your character is top notch, you forgive often, you love others with a love that only come from knowing Jesus, you are patient, kind, loving, hospitable, intentional, hard working and I’m so incredible grateful to be loved by you. Happy (Late) Birthday to my beautiful bride and best friend! She is the most amazing woman I have ever met!

She’s absolutely beautiful, hilarious, extremely hospitable, kind, intelligent, super super hard working and all around a joy to be around.

When we did premarital counseling I remember getting a question about why I wanted to marry her. I said she makes me want to be the best version of myself. This is still true and will always be. She loves me the way Jesus loves us as fallen people. Forgiving and sacrificing so easily. She’s awesome!

When asked by our officiant and friend @dr.zachclinton what we wanted him to emphasize at our wedding we both said the same thing. That the name of Jesus would be magnified through our marriage and that the people there might get to experience the presence of the Lord.

Nothing but pure joy and praise that we got to marry each other on the most perfect day with the BEST friends and family in the entire world. It is Christ’s love who brought us together and who will continue to bind us on this journey of marriage we get to embark on. We know that while we cannot fully find fulfillment in each other because this only comes from the Lord, we get to serve each other unconditionally for the rest of our lives as an act of worship to him whom our soul adores and loves.
