So thankful for the game of baseball it has taught me tons about life and formed relationships and bonds that will last a lifetime. The last four years at St. Patrick I’ve enjoyed and learned more than I could possibly imagine. I learned tons about leadership, how to hold people accountable, how to push people when they didn’t wanna be pushed, how to keep everything and everyone together even when you feel so alone. No one will quite understand how much this game and this last season meant to me, all the sleepless nights, 3am thoughts, early morning and late night workouts, all the hours outside of practice, the hard conversations, and that’s okay not everyone is supposed to understand. I asked myself so many times why keep doing it why keep putting myself through all of it, all the stress, because as fun as winning is the pain of losing is a million times worse then the wins are good. This season didn’t end the way it was supposed to but I will forever be grateful for the memories and lessons the game of baseball has taught me. by @carsonk3434
