This summer, from July 5–11, Carson and I will be serving with Lighthouse Family Retreat for the first time! Lighthouse Family Retreat is a faith-based nonprofit that provides beach retreats for families impacted by childhood cancer. For some families, this may be their very first trip to the beach, or the first meaningful time together outside of hospitals and treatments in a long while. It’s a week centered on rest, joy, connection, and hope in Christ, and we are so excited to have the opportunity to love and serve these families.

To help support our fundraising efforts for this trip, I created a limited run of hand-designed, hand-carved, and hand-printed lighthouse linocut prints. Each print is made with black ink on white 5x7 deckled-edge paper, making every piece unique. They look beautiful framed, pinned to a wall or fridge, or even used as greeting cards!

We are working to raise $3,400 to help cover lodging, food, programming, and other retreat costs for these families to fully enjoy this special week. This past week I had the honor of being ordained and becoming the Kids Pastor at Stonecreek Church. It is truly the greatest job in the world to introduce kids to the person of Jesus and lay the building blocks of faith in their life. I cannot thank enough the people who have supported me and championed me to this moment. by @carsonknauff
