A 320 kW FAMILY SUV? Australian approval documents for the GWM Haval H7 plug-in hybrid list a 1.5 litre turbo petrol making 110 kW, an 80 kW front motor and a 150 kW rear motor, which adds up to 320 kW with all wheel drive. GWM has not confirmed those outputs, the battery size or the electric range. The new H7 range goes on sale this month and opens below $50,000 drive away. The hybrid is aimed at the Toyota RAV4, the plug-in at the BYD Sealion 6 and Mitsubishi Outlander. Official pricing is due within weeks. Would 320 kW sway you? JUST LANDED. The Mitsubishi Pajero is back in Australia as a body on frame, seven seat 4WD. The GLS starts at $68,490 before on-road costs (five seat), or $69,990 with seven seats. Exceed is $79,990 and GSR is $84,990. Every grade has a 2.4 litre turbo diesel with 150 kW and 480 Nm, an 8 speed auto, Super Select II four wheel drive and a 3,500 kg braked tow rating. Orders open this month, first deliveries are due in December. Mitsubishi says a hybrid Pajero follows by 2030. It undercuts the Toyota LandCruiser Prado, which starts at $73,200 before on-road costs. @nissanaustralia has confirmed the Navara Pro PHEV for 2027: 2.0 turbo petrol plus electric motor, a preliminary 300kW and 800Nm, mechanical 4x4 with diff lock, 3,500kg towing, up to 1,000kg payload (subject to homologation). The triple LED bars nod to the old D21 Hardbody.
