More fun at Napatak Music Fest last year, this moment with the bubbles turned into some of my favorite shots I've taken, even with the chemical burns on my negatives.

Shot on a Nikon FE2 with Ilford HP5+400/ Delta 400/ Ortho+80.

Some film shots from last summer, backcountry camping near La Ronge before Napatak music fest with some pals!

These were shot over a few 120 rolls of Ilford Delta 400 and Ortho Plus 80, taken on a Yashica Mat-124G. I spent some time this year experimenting with chemistry and developing at home, scanning the negatives at @pavedarts with their Plustek scanner.

The 525 announced its partnership with Project Riversdale Chinatown & 河都華埠 with a Lunar New Year launch party at Dragon Emperor earlier this year!

This is an initiative dedicated to revitalizing Saskatoon's historic Chinatown through public art, by focusing on 3 key areas: public art installations, community events & programming, and archival preservation.

“Shapeshifter is a testament to Burns’s deep commitment to personal growth, acting as a light for those who surround him. Through personal painted stories of real life transformation, emotion, and visions, Shapeshifter encourages deep reflection, empowering its viewers to question their own position in their lives, and whether or not they’ve had control of it.“

Back in March, I had the honor of working as Operations Director with the 525, bringing to life Brody Burns' solo exhibition: SHAPESHIFTER

Saskatoon's art and community thrive thanks to fantastic artists like Brody, and the passion of those who show up to experience and support local art and artists!

Thank you to everyone involved in making this exhibition happen, and to everyone that showed their support! ❤️
