One Step Forward by LES NUBIANS

We are most proud to present our most recent masterpiece; six minutes of trials and tribulations. Two Individuals showing struggle though dance.

FUN FACT: The vision was initially fabricated in our minds before deciding to put the piece on stage. All it took was a late night conversation— rehashing our experiences over the past 6 months.

My sister and I produced this piece in 3 days. Nothing was forced. The feel for this piece was all too familiar. Deep. Dance is truly therapy. Being able to share our emotions and create a connection through movement is a blessing. We both have endured so many hardships in our young lives only and came thus far thanks to The Most High God.

Everyone please Tag @lesnubians !

AND ENJOY THE SHOW!

This performance was everything 🤍

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

AMEN👏🏾

Really in Awe of the Lord right now🥹.
I was booked as a soloist for a special event on 9.26.
This video captures the progression of the routine over a couple of weeks. In the past, when it came to choreographing dances, I’d run into stumbling-blocks. Many lyricist call it “writer’s block”; in my case, I’d struggle to create and end up with incomplete projects.

Well… I FINISHED THE DANCE.

He even answers your small prayers! Amen?

Unfortunately, I don’t have a personal recording from the event… hopefully the person who does will share it 🙂.
