As someone who’s introverted and from a finance background, spending most of my time in front of a laptop, I never imagined I’d want to run a business.

When I was first introduced to this business opportunity, I thought it was just a side gig to earn some extra income alongside my corporate job.

As an accountant, I once thought I understood income.

For years, I followed the conventional path.
A stable career, predictable income and structured progression.
But at some point, I started asking myself a deeper question:
Is trading time for money the only way to build a life and income?

More than 6 years ago, I stepped into entrepreneurship through the network marketing industry and it completely rewired how I think about value creation.

Instead of focusing purely on monthly earnings, I began to understand the power of building long-term assets.

Here’s what shifted my perspective:
🔹 Leverage
Effort is no longer limited to immediate returns. What you build today can continue to accumulate and compound over time.

🔹Growing demand for beauty & wellness
The global beauty & wellness industry was valued at USD 620 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 950 billion by 2030.
Driven by an aging population, rising health consciousness and increasing demand for longevity.
This isn’t a trend. It’s a structural shift.

Building a business is no longer limited by geography.
I have the privilege of working with business partners across SEA.

🔹Future-proof relevance
In a world shaped by rapid AI advancement, geopolitical tensions and constant uncertainty, many industries are being disrupted.

Technology can automate processes.
AI can analyze data.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐮 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧?

People have different perceptions and misunderstandings about network marketing. And if not everyone understands your journey, that’s okay.

To me, network marketing is one of the more accessible business models for the average person because of the 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞.

Especially in today’s world, where more people are looking for flexibility, additional income streams and greater ownership over their future.

But for me, it’s not just about building an income.

It’s also a platform where I can develop real business skills : communication, leadership, sales, marketing, problem-solving and the ability to empower people.

🌎The world is aging.

More people are becoming interested in longevity, wellness, peak performance and how to live longer and better.

That’s why I believe the wellness and healthy-aging space has strong long-term relevance. #ageLOC #nuskin

Of course, I’m not saying that building a network marketing business is easy. 不是容不容易是值不值得

It still takes consistency, patience, learning, resilience and a willingness to grow.

I chose it because I believe it gives an ordinary person the opportunity to build a life on their own terms while continuously learning, growing and discovering the best version of ourselves.

For me, it’s not just about building a business.

It’s about building a life I truly desire and becoming the person I’m meant to be 🩷

Back then, I started my career as an auditor and accountant.

And tbh, there was never really a 9–5 😂
Sometimes it was 9–9, 9–12, or even 9–3am during peak periods.

Working on any platform requires effort.

What matters is does the path I choose give me the outcome and the life I actually want?

At that time, what kept me going was knowing that I was building options for my future ☺️
