Previously on Curated By KØR! I DJ’d @girlsroomclt at @must.be.nice.clt and it’s safe to say everybody had a blast!

*Transparency Moment* Sometimes the journey doesn’t make sense but it makes all the sense (I know I confused you already 😂) the gigs had slowed up in Charlotte and honestly I don’t know why and it’s not my job to figure out why but to just adjust and move accordingly and that’s what I did. I came across a thread from @djcerajane about an Open Deck in ATL and since I was going to be there already with family I decided to go. The vibes were everything, there’s nothing like walking into a room and having a sense of calm that comes over you. All I had to do was show up and I’m glad I did. Thank you @djcerajane for creating a safe space for djs, creatives and music lovers to thrive and fellowship. Shout out to all the DJs that came thru!

ME VS. ME
One of the main things DJ’ing has forced me to do is show up for myself even if I have any doubts or unnecessary pressure I put on myself. When asked to do Girls Room it was an automatic “hell yes”, it was a full circle moment because I wanted to do their open deck back in December. The days leading up to it I experienced every emotion doubt, anxiety, and etc. but at the end of the day I let go and just remained present. I reminded myself who I am and trusted my music taste, intuition and did my best! At the end of the day I executed…thank you @domii_music and @girlsroomclt for having me, forever grateful for you for letting me catch a vibe it was one of those ones 🤞🏾💕 by @caryn_wright
