Created by owner Marcos Ruiz in collaboration with architect and designer Emmanuel Picault of the Mexico City firm @chicbyaccident - the house blends the raw beauty of Mexican brutalism with the warmth of a traditional hacienda. Picault’s stage-design sensibility runs throughout: interiors of deliberate restraint, where every object earns its place and carries real presence.

Hidden within the heart of Bernal yet just a short walk from the town’s cafés, restaurants and artisan shops, @casa.bernal.mx feels both secluded and effortlessly connected. Every patio, framed view and open-air space has been designed to embrace the landscape and the changing light throughout the day. The architecture doesn’t compete with its surroundings — it converses with them, drawing from the terrain so that house and land compose a single, living scene. At the center of it all is the pool, the acknowledged hero of the property.

More than a place to stay, Casa Bernal is an invitation to disconnect from routine and reconnect with nature, design and the people around you.
