This room has survived a whole year without me wanting to give it a glow up 🤍When we were choosing options for our new build, I picked these tiles and upgraded to spotlights, and honestly, I'm still so happy with the choices we made in here.Apart from adding a mirror cabinet, this room looks almost exactly as it did on move-in day…although I still need to get a blind for the window, so apologies to the neighbours 👀I was kindly gifted these gorgeous products from @gracecoleltd and they fit in here perfectly. Happy 1 year in our new build home 🖤✨Can’t believe how quick it’s gone!We’ve made it our own one DIY project at a time, learning new skills along the way and doing everything ourselves. Apparently dark colours are a bad idea in small rooms…good thing we ignored that advice 🖤Swipe for the before & after of our bold downstairs WC makeover.The tongue & groove panelling from @wallpanelsworld completely transformed the space 😍Then we fully committed with Rich Black by @duluxuk, statement wallpaper from @photowall_sweden, gold fittings, a new window sill, and our first ever attempt at DIY coving…those corner angles nearly finished us off 😂Still a few finishing touches left, but we’re so glad we took the risk with this moody makeover.Would you go dark in a small space? 👀Ad | Gifted#newbuildhome #beforeandafter #downstairswc #diypanelling #bathroommakeover by @casa_morwil

Our monochrome hallway gets such a reaction when people walk in. It’s not a huge space, but the black completely transforms the feel of it 🖤We wanted contrast and depth from the start, and the moment it all came together it just worked. A quick reset and suddenly I’m obsessed with this room again 🤎Our sofa is definitely the main character in here.
