Only a couple weekends ago but feels like a world away. Miss our little slice of hi-dez paradise and our critter neighbors. Still working on our casa, bit-by-bit. by @casacielito29

Heat has broken. And not monsoonal humid anymore. Last few weeks have rough. About to embark on the next phase of Casa Cielito’s evolution. Also, will never, ever, ever get over our backyard. by @casacielito29

Meep meep! Should we let him inside? by @casacielito29

Popped a few more plants in the ground. We were supposed to do it the spring before it got sizzling 🥵 but life keeps lifing, ya know? That tall San Pedro is going to be a centerpiece. Planning way ahead here for next construction phase in who knows when. by @casacielito29

Summer sky absolutely serving. 🌅 Evening ritual at our little sunset bench at Casa Cielito. by @casacielito29

Filling up the tank for the season!☀️ Galvanization is damaged at the bottom. Looking into installing a liner. Our new little pool robot is cute. 🤖 by @casacielito29

Shored up the perimeter of the house. Water runoff during big storms can get pretty wild - surprisingly river-like moments! Short lived but moves a lot of sand. Now that we have the concrete pads out there, the reality of rain runoff washing out the sand under them was just a matter of time. The grading and boulders will protect our little casa! by @casacielito29

Nora fell in love with the hi-dez just like we did when we first brought her out. The light is unmatched out here and the colors with it. Now she spends west coast time with us in 29 when she’s not in Italy or New Hampshire. It has been a dream of hers to share her work out here and we are so happy it’s happening. Come and see her work in JT @juniperartsjt gallery! We will be there this weekend in her stead - she’s creating new work in Italy at the moment and can’t make it out until later this spring. Her immaculate vibes will be on display for a couple of months in a group show. See ya there!! by @casacielito29

Dinner in Wonder Valley tonight. by @casacielito29

📷 Dispatch from our contractor. We’ve been saving this beautiful Luna pendant for 3+ years. She’s finally getting her debut. Managed to polish up the front door glass too. It had a bunch of shipping material residue desert-sun baked into the glass. All smooth and shiny now. ✨ Also, sneaky peak of our final paint color! 🌸⚫️💕🏴‍☠️💖▪️💞🐜💗🖤 #casacielito29 by @casacielito29
