Hi! I’m Sam — Co-Founder and Lead Designer at Casa Edit Studio 🤍

For me, design is about creating spaces that don’t just look beautiful, but feel effortless to live in. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the joy of helping shape more than 70 homes across Charlotte — from the very first sketches to the final, perfectly placed details.

I’ve learned that the most stunning spaces are built through collaboration, craftsmanship, and care. Whether I’m knee-deep on a jobsite or fine-tuning the finishing touches, the magic always lives in the details — the textures, tones, and teamwork that bring a vision to life.

So excited to share more of our journey and the heart behind Casa Edit ✨

Follow along as we continue building something special — and don’t forget to check out our new website at casaeditstudio.com

Hey, I’m Valentina, Co- Founder and Creative Designer behind Casa Edit Studio.

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a designer. From convincing my mom to let me paint our house and move furniture, to re-arranging my room and multiple Ikea trips every time a new idea came to life. At one point, I even had an accent leopard-print gold wall with adjacent black and hot pink walls 😅

My dream was always to have my own design studio — but first, I wanted to learn how everything else worked. So I started in construction, side by side with builders, learning how homes actually come to life.

Now, I get lost bringing my clients’ visions to life sketching, drawing, and sourcing materials until their spaces feel entirely them.

For me, the magic lives in the details: textures, tones, collaboration, and that moment when a vision becomes real.

Looking back at another project over a year later 🤍

This was a special one because our client came to us with such a beautiful vision already. Her home was warm, cozy, and full of character — we simply stepped in to help refine it and bring the details together.

Limewash became one of the defining elements of this space. We carefully selected the hue, undertones, and finish to create the soft, calming atmosphere we envisioned.

Our job is to help you navigate those decisions and create the right combinations to achieve the feeling you actually want your home to evoke.

And this bedroom… it truly felt like a cloud.

The moment you walked in, everything felt softer. Calmer. Like a weight had been lifted off your shoulders and your body immediately knew it was time to slow down.

Which is exactly what we wanted this space to feel like.

Sharing a few raw moments from the process, a year later — because sometimes looking back is the best reminder of how much intention goes into the finished spaces we love so much. by @casaedit.studio

A look back at a project we completed a year ago, and one that will always be special to us.

We had the opportunity to work with this family from the ground up, beginning in pre-construction. From the earliest stages, we helped finalize the design layout, establish the overall concept and design direction, and carefully select the finishes throughout the home.

The vision was rooted in organic materials, warm tones, and a sense of understated warmth that would feel beautiful, but most importantly, feel like home.

Looking back, what makes this project especially meaningful is knowing how much the homeowners love their home and how appreciative they’ve been of the work we did together. It was incredibly special to help define their vision and see it come to life from the very beginning of construction through the finished spaces.

New construction is about so much more than selecting beautiful finishes. It’s about establishing a thoughtful design direction early, making intentional decisions throughout the process, and creating a home that feels cohesive from the ground up.

This is exactly the kind of work we love most. 🤍 by @casaedit.studio

Visualizing your dream home is our job! — seeing the realistic detail before a single cabinet is installed is where the magic truly happens.

Renderings are an essential part of our design process because they allow us to:

✨ Perfect the proportions + layout — test island scale, seating clearances, sightlines, and workflow before anything is fabricated.

✨ Explore bold material pairings — see how dramatic stone veining, warm wood tones, and custom metallic finishes work together in the space.

✨ Eliminate the guesswork — make thoughtful decisions on finishes, hardware, lighting, and layout details with a clear vision of how everything will come together.

Planning a custom build or renovation? We’d love to bring your ideas to life before the first cabinet is installed. tap the link in our bio to connect!

A spare bedroom, completely reimagined. ✨

Our client had a vision: something moody, elegant, and unexpected.

So we brought the vision to life — starting from scratch. We measured the existing space, listened to our clients, and translated it into a fully customized 3D rendering so our client could see the room before a single piece was ordered.

Rich burgundy tones.
A custom mural wallpaper with cherry blossoms + cranes.
A dramatic tiered beaded chandelier.
Custom furnishings, scaled and layered into the space to give our client a true sense of proportion, placement, and the finished look.

Because sometimes the hardest part of designing a room is imagining how all the pieces will come together. That’s where we come in.

Vision → Rendering → Selections → Procurement → Production!

For this master bathroom renovation, we’re reimagining the space from the ground up — heated floors, a freestanding tub, a new shower with a custom bench, and all the little details that make the room feel intentional

Our 3D renderings allow our clients to truly see the space before anything is ordered or installed. It gives us the opportunity to fine-tune proportions, finishes, layouts, lighting, plumbing, and those custom details that can make all the difference

Full-service design. Thoughtful details. One very happy bathroom ✨

The phase where the vision starts becoming reality.

There’s something so exciting about seeing a project move from drawings and renderings into the physical space. This drywall phase is where all of the planning, details, and decisions begin to take shape.

And this is exactly why having a designer involved from the beginning matters.

From ceiling details and wall dimensions to lighting locations, cabinetry, millwork, niches, and every transition in between — the details need to be accounted for before they’re built.

Good design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about thoughtful planning, clear documentation, and intentional execution so that the finished space reflects the vision exactly as it was imagined.

The pretty part comes later. The foundation for it starts here.
