✨ O que me inspira... By C.M.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Bem-vindos ao novo capítulo do @cascais.views

◇◇◇

The light of Cascais remains my starting point.

A new frame, the same eye for detail, where photography, art, and poetry meet the journeys that shape us... 🌊 ✨

─── ⋆ 🌊 ⋆ ───

Golden lines and reflections drawn along the coast.
The usual rhythm of the afternoon, the calm walk, and the Atlantic as a permanent backdrop.

O sol surge devagar,
Como um arco dourado,
Afastando a noite fria
E o cansaço acumulado.
O dia abre os seus braços,
O vento começa a soprar,
O mundo é novo outra vez,
Pronto para se caminhar.

The sun comes up slowly,
Like a golden bow,
Chasing away the cold night
And the weariness we know.
The day opens its arms,
The wind begins to blow,
The world is new again,
Ready for us to go.

· ── • ── ·

There is a pure silence falling through space,
A sweetness of light that fades and drifts away...

O Entardecer

(Versão Original)

O dia foi longo e cheio de sol,
Agora a noite desce devagar sobre a praia.
O mar acalma o seu rumor antigo,
E uma luz dourada no horizonte desmaia.
Tudo se cala num instante puro,
O vento para, a onda faz-se espuma,
E o coração descansa no escuro,
Sem pressa nenhuma.

The Evening

(English Translation)

It has been a long, sunny day,
Now night slowly descends upon the beach.
The sea quietens its age-old murmur,
And a golden light fades on the horizon.
All falls silent in a moment of purity,
The wind ceases, the waves turn to foam,
And the heart rests in the darkness,
Without any haste.

O Ritmo do Tempo

O dia desliza num som mais
discreto,
Deixando no ar uma suave canção,
Que move os meus passos em
direção,
A tudo o que guardo num mútuo
afeto.

O rumo do tempo desenha a nossa
história,
Enquanto o olhar convida a sorrir

faz,
Deixando que a bruma nos envolva,
Pois este embalo que a alma
devolve
Traz o mistério que a vida refaz.

✦ ─── ── ─ ─ ─ ── ─── ✦

The Rhythm of Time

The day slips away in a quieter
sound,
Leaving a gentle song in the air,
Moving my steps to the warmth that
is there,
Where all of our mutual affection is found.

The course of time writes our
history's line,
While every glance is a promise to
smile,
For this deep harmony, lasting the
while,
Is the unique beat keeping your
heart with mine.

I forget the hours and what the
world does,
Letting the mist hold us close in its
role,
For this sweet swaying returned by
the soul,
Brings the deep mystery that life
expands and renews.

Bom feriado! | Happy holiday! 🍃✨

─── 🌿 ───

Onde o Tempo Respira

A luz pura inunda a paz no meu jardim.

A brisa suave desenha a sombra no chão,
onde descansa, calmo, o meu cão.

Os gatos vizinhos vêm visitar-me de mansinho,
enquanto os pássaros cantam no seu ninho.

O tempo para neste espaço de luz,
um convite lento que à contemplação conduz.

──── 🍃 Onde o Ar Abranda 🍃 ────

Where Time Breathes

Pure light floods the peace where my garden grows.
Stillness embraces the calm that freely flows...

A gentle breeze draws shadows on the ground,
where my dog rests, safe and sound.

Neighboring cats visit, stepping soft and light,
while birds sing sweetly, tucked in nests out of sight.

Time stands still in this space of light,
a slow invitation to pure insight.

──── 🍃 Welcome to Slow Air 🍃 ────

Transcender a ausência através da memória. Onde o tempo para, a saudade começa.

~

Transcending absence through memory. Where time stops, saudade begins.

— by C. M. —

•

~

Memory is not merely an archive; it is the essence of who we are. We feel saudade to ensure our footprints are never washed away.

— by C. M. —

— ✧ —

Saudade

É por isso que a sentimos:
Para nos recordarmos.
Não apenas das pessoas de quem gostámos,
nem só dos locais onde estivemos.
Temos de garantir que continuaremos
a lembrar-nos...
Ou esqueceremos quem somos.

~

This is why we feel it:
To remember.
Not only the people we have loved,
nor just the places where we have been.
We must ensure that we continue
to remember...
Or we will forget who we are.

— by C. M. —

— ❧ —

Saudade (noun): A word with no direct translation. It is the presence of an absence; the love that remains after someone or something has gone; the bridge between who we were and who we are.

E o tempo corre, leve e subtil.

São passos dados sobre a geometria,
Da calçada que o sol quer abraçar,
Um "Mundo de Aventuras" em plena harmonia,
Com o "Dia Atlântico" a ver-nos passar.

As árvores curvam-se ao vento que vem,
Trazendo o sal, o puro e a memória,
Neste porto que nenhum outro tem,
Escrito na espuma da nossa trajetória.

Magníficos dias, de luz e de mar,
Neste jogo eterno da arte de viver,
Basta um olhar para nos fazer ficar,
Basta este azul para nos fazer sonhar...

🌊⚓🌊⚓🌊

Atlantic Tones

On the basalt wall, the sea finds its rest,
In this island waking in indigo hues,
Where the breeze is a hope, eternally blessed,
And time flows light, with nothing to lose.

Steps are taken on the pavement's design,
Where the sun's warm embrace starts to gleam,
A "World of Adventures" in harmony fine,
With the "Atlantic Day" watching our dream.

The trees bow down to the wind that blows,
Bringing salt, purity, and all that is bright,
In this harbor that only the island knows,
Written in the foam and the mist’s pure white.

Magnificent days, of ocean and light,
In this eternal game of the art of being,
Just one look and the world feels right,
Just this blue to keep us dreaming...
