Becoming a mom changed everything, not just my routine, but my perspective. At 38, I’m learning that it’s never too late to start over, to build the life you want, and to choose peace over pressure.

Eva is almost 7 months old and now throws herself backward from a sitting position, expecting me to catch her. It’s not fun. The cushy backpack gives me free time; otherwise, I must stay with her when she is sitting.

The one thing every new mom needs to look awake in the morning. 🤱☕🩵🐚🫧

Honestly, most of my skincare routine went out the window at 1 month PP. But these cold, hydrating eye patches?

Eva just turned 6 months. And I’m honestly nervous about starting solids. 😬

I’ve been anemic my whole life, so I knew my milk alone wasn’t giving her enough iron.

How do I explain that I don’t have the right words today,
and maybe I never will?

6 months feels like a lifetime and no time at all. She’s napping right now, same as Day 1, but everything about her has changed.

She is my whole world. Watching her grow is the best thing I’ve ever done, and the most heartbreaking thing I’ll ever keep doing. Every. Single. Day.

I’m officially a SAHM...
I resigned at the end of my maternity leave...

👩‍🍼: She is 5 months old.

I’m a new mom at 38.

5 years at that job.

Walked away at the end of July.

Why? Because I couldn’t hand my baby to a stranger and miss her milestones. So I chose her.

One income. Bigger love. Total restart.

New body. New life. No rehearsal.
