✨I Have Nothing✨
February 24th, 2025
54 Below
.
.
First, I want to thank @voice.collective for asking me to be a part of ‘The Songs in Our Hearts’ showcase at @54below. To make my debut at such an iconic space in New York City was truly special. To @cassi.mikat, my fearless voice teacher, you have helped make this performance possible with every lesson, I have unlocked more of my voice❤️

To my Friends and Family, you are my everything. Thank you for your unyielding support of me and all my endeavors. To show up show after show and even live-stream (Some all the way back in California❤️)! All the DMs, all the txts, all the calls- Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And now I want to thank Ms. Houston and the strong, elegant, powerful female singers I have looked up to my entire adolescent life. The women who inspired me to become a singer in the first place. The Celine’s, the Aretha’s, the Ella’s, the Etta’s, the Whitney’s. Their grace and passion transcends time. That is why I chose this song. It is the song that has been in my heart and pays homage to the greats that have come before me. The ones who have shown me how it is done💪 It encapsulates the love I have for this craft. The way music can affect your soul and take you to places you have never dreamt. It is a gift and I am so blessed to get to share it with you all❤️

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

And cheers to this wonderful band!

63 years later and this duet still gives me chills. Judy and Barbra really were those girls💅 October 4th, 1963 will go down in history as one of the most influential performances to ever be taped❤️

Last night @heycharliehigh asked me to come and sing at his SOLD OUT ‘Charlie Sings Judy’ show at @thebeechman. How could I say no!? Such an honor to share the stage with such a talent and to honor two of the most important singers to ever do it!

Shout out to the amazing band and hugely talented music director, @drewwutke!
