Last month I began my journey as an MFA Acting candidate at the University of Arkansas. I am in the company of six other (incredibly talented) actors and a dozen more amazing theatre artists in this cohort. Eager for all the discovery, collaboration, and beauty that awaits me on this path (and grateful for all that has already begun revealing itself). I really love this work. by @caseygboard

Some behind-the-scenes shots of our production of Angels in America at @vintagetheatreproductions , which concluded this past Sunday.

I don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for this incredible experience. To be trusted with the role of Prior Walter for the full arc of this mammoth story is an honor and responsibility unlike any I’ve known before. I’m indebted to my cast, the producing team, and the inspiring crew who all contributed their hearts and souls to make this production come to life.

Prior, I love you, and I carry you with me always. ♥️🪽💅

The Great Work Begins.

Last week we had to say goodbye to our sweet Jojo. Far, far too soon. We’re heartbroken, but remembering all the joyous, silly, and gentle times. There are so many.

See you on the other side, sweet girl. by @caseygboard

Pretty Far is out now. I’m so excited for you all to hear it ♥️

This was a journey. When I wrote this song a few years back, I felt for the first time that sensation some artists have when they’re impressed by what they’ve just created. From an artistry standpoint, it felt a little bigger than what I had crafted before it. In one sitting, I had found that elusive and invaluable state of flow and came out the other side with this gift of a song. I had no plans with it at the time, but I was so pleased by the step I had just taken. Over time, I wrote more songs, played some live around town, made some friends in the musical community, and developed a confidence in myself that hadn’t been there before. This song, Pretty Far, not only sharpened some beginner’s tools I had, but more importantly, taught me how to better use them as well. I’ll say that this is the first release of many more to come down the line, and I will be forever grateful and in love with this little tune.

Enjoy ◡̈ ♡
