Just finished my first week of nurse anesthetist school! 🎉 So excited to start this new journey. Loved meeting my amazing classmates and faculty and diving into the first semester!

Feeling so grateful for the experiences and people who helped me get here—nursing school at Duke, Vanderbilt SICU, CRDU & COVID units, camp nursing, and travel nursing—it’s been one wild ride. 🩺✨

4/9 semesters down! ✅
From my first to last day of clinical this semester, there has been so much growth. My dad once told me he didn’t unpack his suitcase for the first six months of medical school, and I felt that this semester as we started clinical and juggled our hardest academic term yet. My time in critical care wasn’t just a job; it was an intense, real-world masterclass that equipped me with the technical precision, razor-sharp critical thinking, emotional resilience, unparalleled teamwork, and decisive leadership skills essential for high-stakes environments. Those moments in the ICU, where every second counted and complex decisions were made under pressure, laid the perfect foundation as I pursue an advanced degree in nurse anesthesia.
