Oh Kate, I am so sorry my earthly intervention couldn’t save you. I am so sorry.

She has been my girl ever since she retired on working cows. She spent my vet school career with me and Jax. She was always such a grounding and stabilizing girl. She would root you like a hog for pets. My heart breaks.. and I just do not have the words. This is has been such an incredible heart break, and experiencing this as a vet and owner has been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. I have loved her with every fiber of my being, and without her the world is a little darker. Oh Kate, until we meet again. 💙
