A few weeks ago, I participated in my very first photography workshop with @morganwilliamsphoto . I went in nervous about what to expect, how I’d measure up as a “newbie” in the business but quickly learned so much and fell even more in love with photography. Not only did I learn some things on the technical side, but also how to slow down, develop my own creativity, and fall in love with creating each families unique story. A few times in the workshop I stepped back and took in how the 9 other women I was shooting with perfected their own craft and I got to take it all in.

My family has been a client of Morgan’s for years and I’ve always been inspired by her and her own growth in the business. I was honored to stand beside her and learn! 📸

Here are a few shots I took from the workshop. I can’t wait to take all that I learned into future sessions!

I was honored to capture these pictures of my dear friend, Kate, a few weeks ago. She is running for Town Commissioner in Wendell, NC! As a former resident of Wendell, and currently a frequent visitor to the town I can’t think of a stronger candidate who will do everything she can to preserve the heart of this town.

Make sure to use your voice and get out and vote on November 4th! 🇺🇸
