🌙🕯️ GHOULS, GENTLE HEARTS & CREATURES OF THE NIGHT…

The witching hour approaches.

October has crept into Alaska, the darkness is lingering a little longer, and something wickedly good is stirring behind the velvet curtain.

Come closer…

Kage Free’s Velvet Hours presents
THE CASEY SMITH PROJECT

Born in Fairbanks and steeped in soul, psychedelia, lo-fi grooves and alternative rock, Casey Smith Project makes the sort of music that could wake the dead—or at least convince them to stay for another drink. 🥃👻

Dreamy. Fuzzy. Soulful.
A little strange around the edges.

Exactly how we like our artists.

But at Velvet Hours, simply playing the songs isn’t enough.

Kage Free pulls back the velvet curtain…

What haunts an artist?

What heartbreak became a melody?

What strange obsession keeps the midnight oil lamp burning long after sensible people have gone to bed?

We’re conjuring up the passion, the mischief, the beautiful madness and the stories lurking behind the music—perhaps even a few secrets Casey never intended to summon. 😏

And every good séance requires an offering…

🧀🍇 Our delectable sponsor Fromagio’s is bringing bites to tempt your taste buds while Casey Smith Project takes care of your ears…and perhaps your soul.

Come.
Come curious.
Come a little bewitched.

Dress mysterious. Meet new friends.

🕯️ Thursday, October 8
🚪 Doors 6 PM | Show 7–9 PM
📍 Penny Royalty • 3005 Spenard Road

🎟️ $35 presale | $40 at the door
💋 Don’t haunt alone — couples purchasing together receive $20 off their pair of tickets.

Bring your friend, lover, crush, your favorite troublemaker… or whoever you’d like sitting a little too close once the lights go low.

The spirits are restless.

The velvet curtain is waiting.
