Strong Minds. Strong Communities. Strong Agriculture. 💚

The Cashion FFA Chapter is incredibly thankful to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma for selecting us to be part of their Health and Wellness Grant and helping make this event possible. We are so grateful for their support and for the opportunity to bring something meaningful to our community.

Last spring, our community lost a life that meant so much to others, a former Cashion FFA member and the son of agriculturists. That loss reminded us of just how important it is to show up for one another, especially in an industry where so many people carry heavy burdens quietly.

Agriculture asks a lot of the people behind it. Our farmers, ranchers, and agricultural families work through long days, unpredictable seasons, financial pressures, and responsibilities that don’t always stop when the workday ends. Sometimes, in the middle of taking care of everyone and everything else, their own well-being gets pushed to the side. Too often, people feel like they have to handle it all on their own because they don’t want to burden the people around them. (Continued in comments) by @cashionffa

Wrapping up a busy week of contests for our members! Colby Swickey, John Robinson, Kyler Sylvester and Nate Poindexter participated at the Shoot for the Nations contest at Silverleaf in Guthrie. The boys placed 2nd in the sporting clays event. Thanks to Jeff Hyatt and Cimmaron Electric for giving us the opportunity to shoot. by @cashionffa

The Cashion FFA officer team attended the Northwest Area COLT (Chapter Officer Leadership Training) Conference this past Tuesday. There, they learned valuable leadership and team building skills.
President Maggie Carroll was selected to practice in the Opening Ceremonies to begin the Conference, where she recited the Vice President part to the over 300 members in attendance.

Big thanks to the parents, family and supporters who came to watch our kids shoot today. FFA Competition Season is OFFICIALLY underway!

Our FFA members competed in the first LDEA competition of the season! For many of our students, it was also their first time getting to zip up that blue corduroy jacket and represent our chapter in competition. What an exciting milestone! 💙

We are so proud of everyone who competed and put in the time, effort, and practice leading up to last night!

Join us on November 1st, 2026 for an Agricultural Mental Health Walk at the Cashion Football Field Track!

This event is about bringing our community together, raising awareness for rural agricultural mental health, remembering those we have lost, and reminding others that they are not alone. 💚

This is a non cost activity all is welcome to just come out, walk, and show support! There will be stations set up for donations around the track as well as a food truck.

📅 November 1st, 2026
📍 Cashion Football Field Track
⏰ Registration @12, Walk @1:00–5:00 PM

Four of our Cashion FFA officers got to spend some time with our kindergarteners last week reading an agriculture book all about boots! They had a great time sharing a little agriculture with some of our youngest Wildcats.
