Exactly 3 years prior to the day of my mom’s accident, I released my song “He’s Still Worthy” as an anthem that Jesus will sustain you through every circumstance. As I’ve sung this song to myself recently, I’ve asked this: If my songs can’t be sung in and through life’s hardest moments, how genuine are they? True worship carries our pain, discouragement, and loss to the feet of the One who isn’t defined by circumstance, to our Savior who gave everything for us. Even now, I’ve found Jesus to be the closest comforter and friend. He truly is still worthy of it all. by @casonschneider

10 years of loving Jesus!
March 24, 2016 was one of the most significant moments of my life — it was the day I became a Christian. After growing up in a twisted church…never knowing the Gospel or who Jesus truly was, God stepped in my story and changed the trajectory of my life.

I took some time to write down many of the things God has done in/for me these last 10 years so that I can publicly give Him the glory for His mercy and faithfulness (see the pictures because the caption was too long).

All this time He’s been purifying my heart and refining me to be more like Him.

Most of all, He’s given me His presence — I now have relationship with my creator, who loves me. I owe everything to Jesus. This week I’ve just been thanking Him over and over and over again for His faithfulness and mercy.

With a heavy heart, I share that my mom has passed away. At only 39 years old, it’s devastating, heartbreaking, and painful in so many ways. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us. We have been touched by everyone that has reached out. The day before the accident, my Mom said, “we only have today, we only have today.”

In recent months, my mom has been going after Jesus. Though business and success were important, everything had shifted. She had found that Jesus was most important and had decided to use her life and resources to impact others.

Whether it’s today, tomorrow, or in 50 years, we will all meet Jesus. Being a good person, successful in business, or just going to church won’t be enough. We must know, trust, and commit our lives to Him. May my mother’s short life cause you to run to Jesus and turn to Him. Through His blood, we can be saved.
