Yalda Afsah around town! In her new series of works, Yalda Afsah [@yaldaafsah] explores different rituals and their social functions. The exhibition at the Kunsthaus Hamburg brings her latest films together for the first time, thus introducing a precise artistic exploration of customs as collective experiences in the present day. ——— Yalda Afsah around town! In ihrer aktuellen Werkserie beschäftigt sich Yalda Afsah [@yaldaafsah] mit ganz unterschiedlichen Ritualen und deren sozialen Funktionen. With the relaunch, we have created a digital space that enhances the profile of the Kunsthaus Hamburg as an open, discursive and internationally connected platform for contemporary art. The new website presents our programme in a clear and accessible way, with a visual language that places the artistic works at the centre. As well as providing intuitive access to exhibitions, events and our archive, the site forges new connections between art, the public and current social issues. At the same time, it conveys our sense of identity as a place for production, exchange and diverse perspectives. The website was designed by Laurens Bauer and Caspar Reuss and programmed by @engramm_hh. Mit dem Relaunch entsteht ein digitaler Raum, der das Kunsthaus Hamburg als offene, diskursive und international vernetzte Plattform für zeitgenössische Kunst sichtbar macht. Die neue Webseite vermittelt unser Programm klar, zugänglich und in einer visuellen Sprache, die die künstlerischen Arbeiten in den Mittelpunkt stellt. We are excited to share with you the new website of the ReferenzBibliothek on Public Art by para-education! Over the past months, Dörte Habighorst, Thesea Rigou Efstathopoulos [@the_sea_of_berlin], Malin Kuht [@massenmedien], and Sarah Savalanpour [@savsaraah] carefully developed this project, working closely with graphic designers @laurensmariabauer & @casparreuss and webdesigner @maximilian_kiepe. The ReferenzBibliothek aims to gather references of all kinds of materials on Hamburg’s fascinating public art collection. During the research a diverse web of references and stories emerged. They form a network of continuously evolving traces – comparable to a musical score in which different tones resonate with each other. This interconnected web of histories, actors, places and events shapes the structure of the website. ReferenzBibliothek was initiated by the City Curator and evolves in cooperation with Kunsthaus Hamburg & the Ministry of Culture and Media [@bkm_hh] Thank you to everyone involved in this collaborative effort. Die ReferenzBibliothek (ver-)sammelt Referenzen zur Kunst im öffentlichen Raum in Hamburg. Während der Recherche zeigte sich die Vielstimmigkeit dieser Referenzen. Sie bilden ein Geflecht aus unterschiedlichen Spuren – vergleichbar mit einer Partitur, in der verschiedene Töne miteinander in Resonanz stehen. Dieses Netzwerk aus Bezügen und Geschichten prägt die Struktur der neuen Webseite. ReferenzBibliothek wurde von Stadtkuratorin initiiert und entsteht in Kooperation mit Kunsthaus Hamburg & der Behörde für Kultur und Medien.
