Something about competing with someone who has the same goals just hits different. by @cass.bacon

Running my service pistol for my first competition year was extremely humbling, but forced so much growth. I have learned the ins and outs of this gun, the trigger walls, resets, and put more rounds through it in the last year than all the years I've carried it combined. Proud of where it has taken me.

Two of my favorite highlights from nationals with the @glockinc 45.

You cannot convince me otherwise that a 200lb giant 🥔 over a bar is harder to move than putting 200lb overhead on a bar. by @cass.bacon

Built to move when you do.

Whether you’re on the range, moving through a course, or getting into an unconventional shooting position, your gear shouldn’t restrict you. These pants give you the flexibility and freedom of movement to bend, kneel, squat, and work without fighting your clothing.

Durable enough for the job. Flexible enough for whatever position the job puts you in.

Mobility matters. Your gear should move with you, not against you.

Fresh Coast has always meant so much more to me than just another competition.

It was the first big competition I ever trained for. The first one I lost sleep over. The first one my team won.

Since then, it’s become one of my favorite weekends every year, not just because of the workouts, but because of the people. I’ve been lucky enough to compete alongside some of the strongest women in Michigan, and many of them have become close friends.

There is something so rewarding about stepping onto the competition floor with teammates you trust completely. When everyone settles into their role and everything starts flowing, it’s one of my favorite feelings in sports.

Coming into this weekend, I wasn’t sure what my body would allow. My left arm is still only about 70%, so Heather and Cassidy stepped up in a huge way. Together, we battled through four events and an all-out tiebreak workout, with Rich Froning and Dan Bailey judging—to bring home another Fresh Coast title.

One thing that made the weekend even better was being outfitted by @lskd.usa - We lived in these outfits all day and never had to think about them. Whether we were rowing, running through the sand, lifting, or hanging from the rig, everything stayed put and was unbelievably comfortable. We even got to switch into the flowy accelerate shorts for podium pictures, which might have been my favorite look of the weekend.

Huge thank you to @freshcoastfitfest for another incredible year of competition on the beach, and thank you to Heather and Cassidy for making this such a special weekend.

Until next year, Fresh Coast. 🌊🏆 by @cass.bacon
