I could tell myself, “oh no!! It’s already July!” Or I could say something like, “oh, it’s only July.” I feel such a push and pull between needing to hurry up in my life and allowing myself to slow down. At the end of the day I’m really only in a race with a single runner, and that’s me. Everything feels like a mystery to me on what my life looks like… but deep down I feel peace that I can’t explain. I wonder if I’ll feel this way for the rest of my life. by @cassandraisbell

I will forever cherish this space even after I move out in the future. I think it’s such a gift to design and create something of your own. I also just want to remember my apartment at this angle with the morning light streaming in. taken in Mar Vista by @cassandraisbell

I met some of the most incredible people in Ireland. Paddy just celebrated his 80th birthday and told me to be present in the moment always. Especially in beautiful places like this. Mussy was the sweetest lover boy of a dog… just a little wiry old man that would lay on your feet so that you wouldn’t stop petting him. We walked through a tiny opening in the trees and discovered the most incredible sunset spot on the bay. I had the time of my life running through the formal gardens and learning about the history of each castle. I finally felt like I got to slow down for the first time in a long time. I hope you enjoy some film photos I took along the way. 🤍 taken in Ireland by @cassandraisbell

My song StromeFerry is out. StromeFerry is the place that a lot of things changed for me in my life. I wanted to show you guys a few videos I took while I stayed there so that you can hear and see what I was seeing. If you feel like listening to the full song, my artist name is bathed in light on all streaming platforms. I hope you like it. :) taken in Stromeferry by @cassandraisbell

I have my first ever single coming out on April 3rd. I’m really nervous and excited to share it with the public. This song has been on my hard drive for over a year… what’s funny is that I wrote, produced, and recorded it in under 3 hours, but I knew God wasn’t allowing me to put it out in the world just yet. I sat with it for so long and barely listened to it. The vocals are my original demo vocals that I recorded in my bedroom at 3 in the morning all while trying not to wake my roommates. I’m normally a perfectionist when it comes to recording music because of my insecurity of not being good enough. For this song I went the complete opposite direction of perfection and ended up saying “screw it” and put out the first take. I don’t know who this song is for. I mean, it’s mainly for myself haha. But I think it will mean something to other people as well when they listen to it. I don’t really feel like doing that thing that artists do where they push their music out and try to spread the word about it… I’m also just tired and a little lazy when it comes to social media. So if this song finds you, it was supposed to. :) Oh, and my stage name is “bathed in light”. Okay love you guys bye by @cassandraisbell
