There’s a way for modern day women to have it all.. without having to sacrifice time with their children. I never went to look back and regret missing the special moments.

I knew choosing this road would be the harder one. But with chooser the harder road, invites a very high reward.
It’s the one thing that every mother wishes they had once they have to go back to work after maternity leave, or when they’ve finally gotten that break away from the kids but they miss them all the same.
It’s time.

In my mind:
I’m allowed to be a hard working mother who also raises her children.
I’m allowed to be a homemaker and a breadwinner.
I’m allowed to cook delicious nutritious food and also hold really important business meetings.
And I can only do these things because I created the time to.

I’m breaking the conventional way of doing anything.
It has not been easy, but it’s worth it. As cliche as that sounds.

Life. Nothing prepares you for the amount of time that goes by when you raise babies. And that tricky balance between wanting to spend as much time as you can with them but also making time to follow your dreams and make time for yourself.
Yes, the lifestyle I’ve created allows me to spend so much time with both my babies which I am knees deep grateful for. But it still doesn’t *feel* like it’s enough.

As both of their birthdays slowly creep up on me.. it’s a push to be even more present with them in these next couple months.
Because it’s really not that long now until I have even more time that I can spend working on what I want to do with ‘my’ life.

Motherhood really is a death and rebirth all at once. It’s taken me 3 years to finally figure out what I’m doing..

Don’t rush the process.

I met another mama today & she congratulated me for being here solo with two little ones.

& I want to share how my exp has been, truthfully.
I would have never gone anywhere with two kids other than Bali, the support is second to none.
Ive also have had special humans in my world to help.

The truth is, motherhood shouldn’t be done alone & we need to own and ask for help. And be open to actually receive it.

Never did I ever think I’d be able to do this the way I have. I was so scared to book the flights, so scared to get on the plane (the last photo on this swipey sums up how flying over was😭😂) & was so unsure of how anything would go..

I WAS NOT READY.

I did not pack our suitcases clicking my fingers like Mary Poppins.. I was crying, questioning what I was fkn doing, knowing I was going to get judged by so many people, but KNOWING I needed to do it. For us. For me.

And our time here has been really really beautiful. I am so grateful that I not onlyyy did the work on my self to feel safe in my body, to do the scary thing, but for the humans who have supported me during this journey. Our nanny who the kids love like family. Well she’s literally known summer since she was a newborn.

And for just owning my needs, standards & values. That’s how I’ve done it ,really.
I ask, I receive. Far too many woman are scared to admit what they really want.

For all the women in my inbox wondering if it’s something they should do.. all I can say is, if you allow the support, you open up to receive & you choose to expand into something uncomfortable, you have the chance to have one of the best times of your life. Even if it’s for a short time, you never know what kind of long lasting change can happen in a short time.

Congratulations to @_orasociety on such a stunning launch, the night was pure magic. The space, the intention, the women… and ooo, the book 🤤 everything felt elevated and expansive in the best way ✨

Being in rooms like that always reminds me how deeply manifestation has shaped my life. Not the passive kind, the embodied, aware, fully-present kind.
