GARDEN CENTRE CLIPS FINALLY UP🤪

It’s taken me so long to get these up, as I’ve been so busy and got quite a few posts I need to put - I find social media so tedious 🥲🥲

Thank you so much to @boomtowngardencentre @nizanuk for having me! It was so fun 😜 I played on the Friday daytime and it was SO HOT IN THAT ROOM, but the ravers still turned up and we had such a fun time despite it being around 40° in there🤣🌡️🌡️

The aspect ratio of these videos went wrong.. I wish Instagram would bring back mixed ratio 🤣 if anyone knows how to fix this, lmk!

❤️❤️❤️❤️🪏🫜👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

INTRODUCING….. @cassia.dnb

With drum & bass in her veins, Cassia is the daughter of pioneer Fabio and Groove Connection founder and Speed / Swerve promoter Sarah Sandy, who remains a constant inspiration. Raised on the culture and a true lover of DnB herself, she knows exactly how to roll out and read a dancefloor. Playing the full spectrum of DnB, from Jump up to rollers to jungle to liquid. Already making waves across the scene, from Boomtown to Kool FM to NYC. Her residency showcases the hottest tunes in DnB, both new and oldskool. A rising name in drum & bass, carving out her own lane while honouring a deep-rooted legacy.

Cassia told us about how connecting to people through radio is important:

Radio means connection to me. There’s something really special about sharing music with people in real time and creating a space where everyone can feel connected, even if they’re listening from completely different places.

She told us about why Mode was the right fit for her:

Mode embodies community, and I really love that. I think the station is incredibly diverse and has a great history, which makes it really exciting to be a part of.

Check out Cassia’s show on the 4th Wednesday of the Month from 17:00 only on Mode.London 📻 by @cassia.dnb

Next clips will be from my garden centre set at boomtown 👀 just have to collate them haha

BOOMTOWN: POMEGRANATE PARLOUR CLIPS FINALLY OUT😤👀😨

WOW WOW WOW.. I don’t even know what to say and tbh I haven’t even been able to collate the footage or the words to describe the two sets I played at pomegranate parlour this year. Both sets were a dream and had a better turnout than I expected.

Starting with the opening set on Thursday- the last video shows when the doors were open and when I saw the room filling up, I almost started crying😭 so many familiar and new faces, it was an amazing feeling. We all skanked out.. mind you this was 2pm on a Thursday. CMON NOW😭😭

Onto the Saturday night set - that was something else. Thank you to the people who came to my Thursday and Saturday set, you know who you are, and you know the ratings I have for you all 🔥🔥 It was such a fun Saturday night set, and I’ve received so much feedback which I’m blown away with.

Thank you so much to @the_pomegranate_parlour_ for having me back again and letting me do my thing in your amazing and creative space. This is tradition now, I think you’re gonna have to get me back next year..? 🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️ But seriously thank you, thank you, thank you! And also huge thanks to @samvaliant for the fucking amazing sound system… it was rumbling OUTTTTT!!!

Again, thank you so much to anyone who came down and showed love. It means so much and these sets have gone down in history for me😅

Did you catch one of my sets at pomegranate parlour? Lmk ⬇️⬇️

Caught up with @cassia.dnb about drum & bass🌿

Also really wanted a chance to show off the Flektogon 35mm. Such a cool lens with really interesting bokeh, and the stiffest manual focus ring I’ve ever encountered. Nothing like vintage glass!
