I hesitate to admit that I've been photographing weddings since 2011 because *gasp* that might make me old. But actually, old people ROCK! I used to work at a retirement resort, and those were some of my favorite humans (not you Ethel, you were just plain mean). With hundreds of weddings of experience, I promise to always give you the best advice on how to avoid the most common planning mistakes and how to get the absolute BEST out of your photography experience. I won't shy away from giving you REAL LIFE timeline help (because no your 23 bridesmaids sharing one bathroom cannot get ready in 15 minutes 😵‍💫 and yes your Uncle Tom will follow the cocktails unless he is explicitly told to stay put for family photos - cheers Uncle Tom 🥂). I will help you create a plan for your complicated family tree. I'll adjust your veil when it's inevitably stepped on by a groomsmen. "What’s it like to be the luckiest photographer in the world?” is what I ask myself every time I get to photograph Morgan and Ken. These two are not just the kindest and most generous souls, but they are flawlessly beautiful and effortlessly chic. When Morgan texts me her outfit ideas to vote on, it’s always an IMPOSSIBLE choice because she has incredible taste and is a model so everything looks good on her. And Ken matches that energy, suit to shoe. Beyond their beauty, these are two of the hardest working people I know and they are so deserving of every ounce of love and every blessing that comes their way. It was an honor to capture their engagement session in Philadelphia. We explored some of Morgan’s favorite spots (which are now my favorite too!), including the Merchant Exchange Building, the Second Bank of the United States Portrait Gallery, and of course, Philadelphia City Hall. 🥂🤍 by @cassiclaire

The most unforgettable day 5.25.25 💕I am so grateful to be able to step out from behind the lens and experience a day like this. Having the most supportive and immaculate creative team put me at such ease. I knew it was going to be beautiful but they surpassed every expectation. what will stick with me forever is all of the moments I was able to share with my loved ones and the love of my life. Seeing family and friends become closer, expressing our love in front of everyone, and the most unforgettable celebration! Getting to spend the day with Ken in both the quiet and loud moments but always being by each others side. Physically seeing how much he adores me and I adore him. When a couple commissions me for their wedding, I send a little “Get to Know You” questionnaire which really lays the foundation for how I approach their photography. Are they silly and outgoing? Are they a little more serious? If they could do anything they want on their day off together, what would they do? I ask them to share their love story in their own words because it helps me to see their relationship how THEY see it. I also ask them BOTH to share their perspectives on things like how they met, how the proposal happened, etc. Being able to hear the same story from their unique perspectives helps me get to know them on another level. It is NEVER too late to celebrate your baby! I often hear “I wish I did a newborn session” to which I always reply “do one now!” Today is the youngest your baby will ever be. Those little toes and chunky thighs fade more and more with each passing milestone. With each growth spurt, you retire another favorite onesie to the memory box. But you know what keeps getting better and better? That little personality that blossoms into a BIG personality. Those little smiles (gas?) that turn into loud hilarious giggle fits. In the famous wise words of Reeses, there’s no wrong way to photograph your family. We love every age and stage. Sweet little Chelsea here is a perfectly squishable 6 months old! Her parents, Lara and Ray, exquisitely decorated her nursery with a neutral and subtle safari theme. I am so happy and honored to have been a part of Chelsea’s earliest photographic family memories. She is going to cherish these photos so much as she grows and as her love for her parents deepens with every new adventure. Ever since we moved to the Somerville area over 10 years ago, I’ve been obsessed with the Historical Somerset County Courthouse. The pale marble, grand staircase, ornate columns, and hidden archways make this a photographer’s dream location. Plus, it’s nestled in the heart of our favorite town with the best restaurants and cutest main street with pedestrian-only areas. This courthouse always turns me into a middle-aged dad…“boy would you look at that” and “gee, they sure don’t make ‘em like they used to” often flow from my mouth without a thought.So it’s no wonder Nina and Matt chose this location to celebrate their union. These two opted for an intimate courthouse elopement followed by a delicious dinner at Wolfgang’s with their family. I’m glad they were able to warm up with a nice steak dinner after because this happened to be one of the coldest and windiest days of the year! You’d never know it though because Nina and Matt are CHAMPIONS!! Congrats you guys!
