It took me a little too long to find the confidence to post this, hence why I’m quite late to the party, but I’m still here for a good time!! :)

Not a soul is safe from the fate the stones give.

And not all souls follow the fate given to them.

Convicted of murdering her grandmother, Princess Lathom Aligrove is auctioned off as a war weapon through marriage, but when the cursed Prince of Nightmares drags her to a rival kingdom on her wedding day, she must choose between succumbing to the whispers stealing her sanity or becoming the good the stones claim she is to save the world.

The Marionette of Whispers is an 18th-century epic romantic fantasy of the weight of an eldest child. It navigates the gravity of a forced responsibility while inhabiting a world inspired by the politics of Reign and House of the Dragon, the complexities of religion, and the costly magical world found in Poppy Wars.

I cannot believe I just sent my manuscript to an editor ahhhhhhhh

Through this entire process, this has been a step that has seemed so far away. The fact that it is finally here is CRAZY!!

So much time has gone into writing The Marionette of Whispers and I am so excited for her to rip it apart so that I can make it better

Now the question is…..how do I spend the next 3 weeks of my life hahaha 😅

Just some little late nights thoughts. Doing my best to stay honest during this process and show even the not so fun aspects of being an author.

Remember to give yourself grace 🥹🤍

This community was such a suprise to me. I never expected it to be full of so many kind, supportive people!

It has been amazing to meet so many of you striving for the same goals and cheering each other on.

It makes the lonely atmosphere of writing a book feel so full.

So if we just met or we’ve known each other since I started this crazy journey, I love that your here and I can’t wait to see all you accomplish.

We’ve got this 🥹🫶🏻
